[Despite all of the incredible and sometimes unbelievable things that Wanda’s seen and experienced in her life, nothing quite prepares her for her arrival on the Tranquility. It isn’t even the fact that she’s unexpectedly woken up on a spaceship that throws her off-balance (though it's quite unexpected), or even the fact that time and space and reality seem to work differently there (because really she's sort of used to that). It's that Pietro isn’t there during a decidedly difficult point in her life (after-life?) that impacts her the most. She can’t remember a time they've ever been parted in such a way, and the feeling is extremely unsettling.

Taking a deep breath, she sets her communication device to broadcast her message in video. She's dressed in her Ultimates uniform, though only the top of the red leather shows on screen. By all appearances seems to be in her early to mid-twenties, with an unusual amount of confident and poise evident in her body language.]

Good evening, my name is Wanda Maximoff and I'm another of the recent arrivals.

[Of course, it's not her real last name, but both she and Pietro adopted it after breaking ties with their father, and it was far easier to go through life not reminding people that they were the children of the infamous Magneto.]

I'm looking for any information regarding my brother, Pietro. It seems that he did not arrive with me, but considering the nature of where we are and shifting realities, any news as to whether he was here in the past would be appreciated.

[She shouldn't really need to add that if he arrives in the future she'd also like to know, right? Surely everyone here has some common sense regarding such matters. From all of the FAQ's she's read recently, they seem more on top of matters than she might have expected of most people. Wanda pauses, and after a moment continues.]

Also, has anyone managed to determine how many different dimensions and points in time we represent on board? Which worlds are similar and which ones are clearly separate, for instance?

[She's curious, not just because of her own dealings with altering reality, but because she's hoping that someone will be able to give her a basic idea of who she's dealing with on board and perhaps even which ones are from worlds similar to her own. Mentioning mutants or any groups by name would draw attention she's not sure she wants yet. Not until she knows who's listening on the other end.]

Knew a Pietro in the place I was stuck before. Ain't seen him here. [ He knew a Wanda, too, which is why he's not really looking for any further clarification... But this isn't the first time he's seen someone from Sacrosanct who doesn't remember him.

Hell, he's just waiting for someone he was close with to turn up and not remember him. That's the way life seems to go for him. ]

Ain't been here long, though.

As far as I've noticed, there are small groups of people from the same world, but it's not too common. People come and go too often to really get a good hold on just how common it is, though. And I think there are way, way too many to begin comparing them all, too. Plus, like for me, I've had people I know from my world come here, but from a different point in time than I was from. More memories, fewer. I'm not sure if it'd even be possible to keep track unless someone was constantly revising the information it after every jump.

When I first got here, I used to think there had to be some common connection between us all, explaining why we were brought here, but there isn't really any common link. Not an obvious one, at least.

[Stuck before? Wanda tilts her head at her device, and when she replies it's with audio only as well.]

You did? Where exactly was that? Did he happen to have very pale hair?

See you made it out to the ship okay. [Francis stop annoying the woman] How are you holding up?

Place called Sacrosanct. Similar t'here, at least in terms of bein' in space and people poppin' up outta different worlds and times. And yeah, silver-white hair, fast as hell, kinda blunt but a decent fella.

[You'll have to forgive her, Raven, but she knows a woman with your exact coloring back home. Granted, Wanda and Mystique didn't really talk much, the other mutant spent a great deal of her time with her father and Xavier, but they knew each other.

There's no mistaking that this is a much younger version, one who goes by her given name rather than her mutant name.]

Raven? [There's something to her tone that implies that isn't the name she was expecting. A moment's pause, and she continues.] Tear away. I asked the question to be answered, after all, and it's better that I have first-hand information than none at all.

[Ah, Barton the younger. Wanda tilts her head at him, and the smile she gives him doesn't quite reach her eyes.]

As well as can be expected, considering the circumstances.

[Such as remembering her death only minutes after Francis left her in the locker room.]

And you?

[ she makes a face for a second that probably reads "is that.. bad?" but she won't question it. ..okay yes she will. ]

Raven Darkholme, yes. Is that-? I mean. Nevermind. [ because she can't seriously ask someone she's never met if Raven is a weird name or something. SO MOVING ON. ] It's probably much more complex than the way I think about it, but I've just seen so many people come and go, and some returning with different memories, or no recollection of being on the ship at all... So if there is some kind of connection, it's pretty obscure. And I don't think any one of us is from the same dimension that this ship is actually from, besides the two members from the original crew that are still on board.

[Wanda files that away, though the space ship or station doesn't sound familiar in the least. With the notion of people "poppin' up" from different worlds and places in time, she can only hope that the place is more removed from Earth.]

That sounds very much like him.

[And she's grateful that the word "mutant" doesn't come up, though "fast as hell" covers enough. She's grateful for the news, though perhaps not so much for the content. Perhaps when she had been transported here, her brother had been taken there?]

Did you know him well, to be able to call him decent?

Wouldn't call him a close friend, yeah? He kept most people other'n his sister at arms' length from what I could tell. We talked, though, and he offered t'help when I got in over my head a few times.

I was wondering about the time-space thing, too. Apparently my future self was here in the past?

Yeah, I don't know.

Haven't heard tell of anyone calling themselves Pietro, I'm afraid.

[That isn't what pinged Blake, though - no, what pinged him was her second question, because it's definitely something he's wondered about, too - and with the arrival of the mysterious woman who seems to know about Batman, about Gotham, but he has no idea who or what she is, well. It's relevant.]

Regarding your second question, I'm curious about that myself but I'm not sure it's even possible to do anything like that. Some people are here from worlds that are obviously... very different. [He's looking at you, Westerosi, and you, Thedans.] But, well. It might be a lot tougher to figure out if people are from... different versions of the same universe, without knowing where they might diverge in the first place.

Haven't seen Pietro, but I saw the Professor here... with hair.

It likely is more complicated than any of us can fathom [even her] but we seem to be on the same page. It seems with so many people it would be an immense task to try and make some sense of it, but I can't help but be wary. Such things in the past have never boded well.

[As for the the first part, well, Wanda can't help but study Raven's face just a bit more obviously.]

And you'll have to forgive me. When I saw your face, that wasn't the name I was expecting to hear.

[Yes, that sounds very much like Pietro, though she must admit Pietro's offer of help does surprise her somewhat.]

An acquaintance nonetheless. Did you know his sister as well?

[Well, did he know her, rather.]

Really? Had your future self been aware that you had been here before in your past, though in the ship's future?

Yeah, but not as well as Pietro. Spoke to her a few times.

[She makes a brief sound in acknowledgment to his initial reply. Wanda doesn't really hold any hope that anyone will have any news of Pietro. That the first man to respond had known him was strange indeed, especially considering the place that he claimed to have known him.]

It would be extremely difficult, I agree. Distinct woulds would be simple enough to categorize on their own, but those that are similar with slight differences, with varying points of time to take into account--it may not even be worth the effort to approach it from that particular angle.

[This isn't her first time crossing from one dimension to another, nor the second if you count the instance in which she brought doppelgangers from a third dimension into the second, but she is for the moment in entirely new territory here.]

Do you know if there's anyone here who deal in reality-based magic? Or sciences that operate it more than one dimension?

I imagine he would have made himself known by now if he were present...

[She trails off, distracted.]

Professor Charles Xavier? With hair?

[Forgive her if she sounds incredulous.]

[Murphy actually feels bad for most people. When he came here, he didn't have anything left. Family or friends. He can imagine, and actually relate, to those who arrive worried for their missing family. It's an important thing to him, to say the least.]

Never heard of 'em -- but I'll keep an eye out, just in case.

[Fortunately, "Pietro" and "Maximoff" are not very common names.]

And, uh. Far as I know, no one's taken the time to separate who comes from where and when, but that's... not such a bad idea, now that I think about it. [Not a task that Murphy himself is willing and able to pick up, but maybe someone...] Any reason why you wanna know?

What was her name? What did you know of her?

I'd appreciate that, thank you.

I can't say that making a directory of sorts would be particularly helpful, from what I understand no one's been able to determine a connection between the various worlds we come from, but I'm curious nonetheless. The nature of alternate realities and the like is something of a focus of mine from even before I arrived here.

Her name was Wanda, and she looked a lot like you, too.

... S'weird, I know.

What does he look like?

And do you really think he was here before?

[More people looking for other people. Michelle can totally relate; she has only been badgering people about her sisters since she got here.]

To the best of my knowledge, there is not and has never been a Pietro Maximoff.

Regarding your second question: I began looking into that; my research, however, pushed me to the conclusion that no two people are indeed from the same world.
