[ This video starts out much like any other - new person being mildly awkward, staring a little to the left. Sheepish might be a good descriptor for Peter at the moment. ]
Right, so. [ Which isn't what he planned to open with, hang on, let's rewind. ] My name's Peter Petrelli. I'm from New York, year 2006. I've read back on the network enough to get a decent idea about what's going on, but not nearly enough to make sense. I did read that we have a medbay, and that I was here before. So uh, sorry about this, but I don't remember being here the first time around.
I guess what I'm trying to say is — who do I actually talk to about getting on the medical team?
Oh, and I can't figure out the space microwave. A little help with that, maybe?

I don't think there's anything cool like that movie here. [ yep, she's only seen the new version. SHE'S ONE OF THOSE. ]

considering Sylar wouldn't have been cast as Spock without the show. ]Which movie?

Uh, you know, the movie? It came out like two years ago. It was pretty cool, even for a sci-fi thing.

Well, I guess the Wrath of Khan was a cool movie. There's like ten Star Trek movies, you know.

[ no really, that sounds like the talk of someone who was one of the trekkies before it became cool to enjoy star trek. welcome to the future generation, peter. ]
It's the one where the main guy was super hot and there were enough flashing lights to make my head kill after.

I'm pretty sure I've never heard of that one, the last Trek movie I've seen still had Sir Patrick Stewart in it.

[ it's rhetorical, really, because she doesn't expect anything more than a scoff and a comment about how he forgot the 2009 version or something. ]

[ Because Hiro, man. Once you've gotten over the time traveling weirdness, it gets surprisingly easy to deal with. ]
Was the movie any good, despite the disco-ball sounding effects?

[ she can roll with it, even though, time travel in terms of years? weird. ]
Yeah, it was pretty awesome. Less nerdy than I thought.

[ hey, he's seen it done. don't knock it. ]
Who's the director? Did they get the same actors or was it like a reboot sort of thing?

[ she'll wait to see it to believe it!! ]
I guess you could call it a reboot. I never saw the original, but they got all new, young people in this one.

I'd think that too, if we didn't have people in medieval dress going around.
Who played who in the movie?

Oh! The guy from Princess Diaries was Kirk. Not the first one, but the second movie where she has to get married.
[ because yes, he would totally know princess diaries. if he doesn't, he should. ]
