[ This video starts out much like any other - new person being mildly awkward, staring a little to the left. Sheepish might be a good descriptor for Peter at the moment. ]

Right, so. [ Which isn't what he planned to open with, hang on, let's rewind. ] My name's Peter Petrelli. I'm from New York, year 2006. I've read back on the network enough to get a decent idea about what's going on, but not nearly enough to make sense. I did read that we have a medbay, and that I was here before. So uh, sorry about this, but I don't remember being here the first time around.

I guess what I'm trying to say is — who do I actually talk to about getting on the medical team?

Oh, and I can't figure out the space microwave. A little help with that, maybe?

I found my brother. He's... busy.

[ He's glad for Prim; he's not too sure he can say the same for himself, beyond the utter relief of knowing Nathan remains alive, if not particularly glad to see him. ]

What about your sister? Is she doing okay?

Katniss is safe here. That's what counts. [Okay is relative, because Prim isn't sure if her sister is ever going to be "okay" again. ]

I'm not very busy here, not yet. I can come visit, and bring Buttercup. [A pause, and she laughs.]

Do you like cats, Peter?

I'm glad to hear that. [ Peter gets her, though; as long as Nathan's safe, that's all he can care for. It counts, and it counts greatly. He nods at her in agreement. ]

And with cats, they're okay if they don't claw the heck out of my front, so let's hope Buttercup doesn't mind me too much. She yours?

He's mine, yes. [She laughs. She supposes Buttercup is a feminine name, but it's not his fault that his fur reminded her of the flower.]

He doesn't like it here very much, but I have to remind him that he gets all he could want to eat, and a safe place to sleep. [She doesn't say anything about clawing because...that cat sure can be a riot when he wants to be.]

I'm trying to get him to meet more people and get more used to the ship. I think that it's working for me. The more people I meet and the more I see, the easier it is to be here.

—He's yours, of course, it's a boy cat. I should've known that. [ Sheepish and a little tickled about the naming, yep. ] Has he gotten his shots yet? I think the gardens here have livestock, so maybe there's a vet section in the med bays, too, what do you think?

But yeah, you wanna meet somewhere? [ That isn't his room, he thinks to account for belatedly, because he's new here and he doesn't know how people would react and he definitely doesn't feel like being called a creep, here.

The last time something like that happened he was accused of a cheerleader's murder. That had been fun. ] I have stale pizza and I'd offer, but then it might lead to food poisoning, so.

He's never gotten shots. I've never had any, either. [She frowns, wondering if that's a very bad thing. She hopes that there is an animal care section at the medbay, so she can get Buttercup what he needs to have.]

We could meet in the common area somewhere. Or the gardens, I like it there.

[That frown is now gone and she's left almost smiling, excited to be getting to see Peter in person again. She considered him to be a good person and a friend, and the fact that he humors her with Buttercup delights her to no end.]

[ He has his ideas about the kind of world Prim comes from, and he thinks he could see it in his mind - a world where everything's gone to pieces, where the life he knows has been destroyed by the choices made in the past. Choices made in his present, an abstract that went the way of the dinosaurs the moment he'd blown up over the New York skyline.

Peter shakes his head at himself. ]

So you've been to the gardens, huh? You work fast, don't you, I haven't even made headway with the floor maps yet. [ Mostly because he's too busy trying to be sneaky in finding Nathan's - he's not having a lot of luck on that front. ] Alright, you know where the elevator things are that leads there? I think we're on the same floor if the tattoo number's any indication, so at least we're on the same level right now.

I have nothing but time here. Time to explore. [She laughs, grinning a little. She knows that she has a lot of idle time on this ship, so she best use that time to do things like figure out more about the place she's living.]

I can come find you, and bring Buttercup. We'll meet and go to the gardens together.

[She can show him the way and he won't have to worry about maps at all.]
