[ This video starts out much like any other - new person being mildly awkward, staring a little to the left. Sheepish might be a good descriptor for Peter at the moment. ]

Right, so. [ Which isn't what he planned to open with, hang on, let's rewind. ] My name's Peter Petrelli. I'm from New York, year 2006. I've read back on the network enough to get a decent idea about what's going on, but not nearly enough to make sense. I did read that we have a medbay, and that I was here before. So uh, sorry about this, but I don't remember being here the first time around.

I guess what I'm trying to say is — who do I actually talk to about getting on the medical team?

Oh, and I can't figure out the space microwave. A little help with that, maybe?

But yeah, name's Peter. Did you know me from before?

[ Her lips quirk a little at the first part; honestly, she hadn't even noticed until he pointed it out.

But then she shakes her head. ] No, you just look kind of like someone from home. He had shaggier hair and glasses, though. [ She didn't know him at all, of course, but she'd hung out with him once or twice. ]

Is it a good reminder or a bad one? Because if it's bad I'm denying any sort of resemblance, so we're clear.

[ he's kidding, because humor is easier than open seriousness. open seriousness often nets him a lot of headpatting from nathan, it's not too fun. ]

It's... Weird. [ Considering he's dead back home. ] I didn't know him very well, so it's mostly just that.

[ Depending on who you ask and when, Peter's already dead, too, so there's that. ]

Well, maybe I can improve your opinion of the guy somehow. What do you think?

[ Her eyebrows pull together slightly. ] Depends; how are you planning on doing that?

Well, you said you didn't know him too well, right? Maybe you just never got to really talk or any of that stuff.

...And that sounded a bit like a come-on, which was not the intention. Sorry. Can I do that again?

[ She smirks a little. ] If you want. I've heard a hell of a lot worse lines than that, though. Trust me.

Then in all seriousness, you've been hanging around the worst guys, if you've heard worse. What I said was just horrible.

They're actually pretty great. I usually hear them from my brother, though, so it's not like they're directed at me. [ And she gave him a lot of shit for them every time he said one. (Also, don't mind that smile on her face that looks more sad than legitimately happy at the memory.) ]

[ If he sounds fond, know that Peter only lets it seep through when he's fairly sure Nathan's not around to make him feel vaguely silly for doing so. Especially now, considering how his last conversation with Nathan went. ]

But hey, at least you know your way around guys. That's a good thing, right?

[ Her smile actually brightens a little as she nods at the first part. The second? That gets a huff of laughter. ] Definitely. I would've learned eventually, anyway, if I didn't have a brother. Being a chick and being part of the gaming world? Not exactly easy if you don't know how to deal with pervs. [ Which is why she's a perv herself. ]
