[ another smile, almost pleasant this time. ]

Now that is a question that depends a lot on perspective.

[ usually she would not care because usually she'd be in control of the situation. No, she loathes to admit she isn't, loathes to ask others, so she tries to sound as elegant and haughty when she goes about it. ]

The ambiance leaves something to be desired, but the company isn't bad.
