Sailing 001 | Video

[When the video starts, it's of a man with tan skin and long hair. Some of it is in dreadlocks, some of it is in braids. He's wearing a black leather tricorn hat above a red bandanna. He's got beads and trinkets in his hair, and he's dressed in full pirate garb. That jumpsuit was weird, why would he wear that when he's got his clothes?]

[He's also upside down. Jack, how did you get on the ceiling, that's not--Oh, wait, no. He's just holding the cell phone upside down. How do I technology?]

Right.

So, I'm t' believe that I'm on some sort of...

[He pauses for a moment, and the video flails around for a minute. Jack is gesturing with his hands and doesn't realize that some viewers may become motion sick. He finally finds the word he was looking for, and the video stops and you've got a lovely video of the wall. Isn't it beautiful?]

...ship. In the sky. Above the Earth. Floatin' in space.

...The Locker made a lot more sense the first time around. This is just... odd.

[Jack does not know what this text thing is. He just notices there are words on his phone that wasn't there before. His video is still on, and he's still holding it upside down.]

..."A pirate. Nea-- Ne-- Neat-- Neat-o."

[What is slang?]

"Ps."

[It's less of P.S., and more of a pssssss. It sounds like he's got a leak.]

"Hi."

[He considers this.]

...Well. That was just maddeningly unhelpful.

[ Okay, so it's the psssssss that tips Mouse off that pirates probably aren't on the up and up when it comes to the technology and text speak. Which is why he switches over to video — a scrawny teenage boy, small for his age, with bleach blonde hair and a metal hoop through his nose and wearing what appears to be a parka with its fake-fur hood pulled up over his head. He peers into the camera from underneath it's shadow and smiles in a lopsided, goofy way. ]

Everyone else? Got it covered. The ship. Space. Space goo.

[ He nods. ]

[ Mouse taps the camera of the device indicating the dude with the rockin' dreads on the other end of the line. ]

You. Are. In. Space!

[ Baby steps, Mouse decides. Baby steps....in space. ]

[Well, that much he'd figured out for himself, oddly enough.]

[ Mouse nods eagerly. Yup. Space. ]

The ship? Totally steals people. Sticks them in the goo tubes. Spits 'em out. Ta da.
