[Luke can be seen kneeling down by his room door. He has his hands set on both sides. His eyes were closed tightly as if he were concentrating on something. It looks as though he's feeling around the door and muttering something under his breath. It's too quiet to hear but his lips are moving.

It's clear that he doesn't know the camera is on him. Recording him as he tries to feel out the lock of his room. He wants back in. Damn. Why couldn't he just feel out all the gears like he always did. There might be a sweat starting to break.]

Gods damn.. [He takes in a deep breath and drops his hands to his sides.] Guess I'm stuck homeless for now.

[Don't worry people he's used to it. Being homeless that is.]

Nobody's homeless! Just head on down to the oxygen garden, they've got a set-up! It's like camping out on a frontier moon, no need to worry.

[How said that? Luke looks over his should and then the other way down the hall. He's not sure he knows what to say here miss invisible woman.] Uh.. Yeah I heard.

[Um.. oh wait. Luke finally looks down and see's his device... is it on?]

Hello! [She waves into her device with a little smile.]

[She looks like a happy go lucky girl. It's odd because he's not sure how anyone can look this up about something like this. But he does offer a smile.] I know how to get there.

I think. I've been around there a couple of times. Think I can get there without getting myself killed.

Be careful! Find somebody to go with you, there's lots of folks locked out of their rooms. Nobody should be wandering around on their own.

Ah. [He says as he rub his chin.] The buddy system. Good plan. I'll look to see if I can find someone. Then I'll go straight to the gardens.

[She seemed to be a really nice person. Wanting him to be careful. She didn't even know him. Yet she seemed concerned.] I will.

I'm not over there, right now, I'm in Engineering helpin' out with things. Just takin' a break.

I was trying to unlock my door with my powers but I can't seem to feel the locks.

The magical locksmiths are the kids of Hephaestus, they could figure out anything dealing with metal. But I know my way around lock too.

It did a few times but right now.. I seem to be having some performance problems.

Right, my bad. And if you want to be technical with the terms, go right ahead, but I'm labeling you a nerd if it's gonna be a thing with you, assuming you end staying here long.

[ He's nearly as old as Derek, and Derek's his alpha dad. Oh, man. ]

[HA HA. Luke just shakes his head.] I've been through a lot. I feel a lot older than I am.

Doesn't mean you actually are older, though. How bad can it be? [ This is the worst question in the existence of all questions, let's be honest. ]

[You try raising an ancient evil, making sure it get the proper fuel it needs and after all your hard work. When all is done? You have to host this titian until he reaches full power and blows your body to pieces. And then! Before he reaches full power you see all the hurt you cause and kill yourself.]

This is way out of their realm. [ the gods can't hear them. all those constellations for heroes are worthless. the closer they are to them, the farther they are from everything else. ] Didn't you hear the announcements?

The lady and alarms. Yeah I heard. [He picks up his phone that he had set on the floor and shrugged.] Just thought I'd give it a shot.

There used to be a time that I could crack any lock.. must be out of practice.

Hermes thing, right? [ just guessing. ] I wouldn't take it personally. The ship has a way of working around us. Once this is all over, you should try again.

Yeah.. Hermes thing. [He's still looking at the door and shaking his head.] If I focus long enough I can pick a lock with my mind. I can feel all the ticks and trips and gears.

But here.. it's like an additional lock. [It's just one of his many gifts he hasn't shown you yet, Percy. If you're nice he'll show you a little more.]

Maybe it's the kind of technology even Hermes isn't aware of yet. [ or there's a code. there's always a lot of codes here, things on a screen that need to be figured out that give him headaches so he ignores them or waits for someone as smart as Annabeth to solve them, so he can go hit the stuff that comes out of solving it. ]

Maybe. [But even still... it makes him nervous. He could try and get to one of those screens and try and unlock that. But for some reason...] So I guess I should head over to the garden place like you asked.

I don't need anything important. [He sighs as he stands.] Gonna let Percy work with the people who really need it.

Would your help not make things easier for him?

I don't have a giant dog that can move through walls. [Just so you know.] And, uh, the history between Percy and I.. it's a little complicated.

I might just get in the way of things.
