I'm Doctor Watson. I work in the medbay and I know Jenna - at least, I think I do. The ehm, blonde? In psychology?

[ Vampire? Fond of a little pot and known for throwing an occasional party? Not that he'd ever attended them. ]

Oh, perfect. You've met Jenna.

[ This is a face you know well, Aidan. This is the I caught you doing vampire politics in the house look.

Not like Josh hasn't already networked with most of the werewolves on the ship, but a lack of hypocrisy has never been one of his strong points. ]

[ Voice ]

Aidan. And yeah, that's her. [ She said to tell them she'd sent him, so he's really just following directions. ]

I'm no doctor, but I'm not sure where else I'd be very useful.

There's only one kind, Isaac.

I did. She's a nice woman. [ This is his slow but casual 'Josh, you have no reason to freak out right now' tone. You know it well. ]

She is. She's a very nice woman. [ Josh's default is to warn Aidan away from women for their own safety, but - oh, right, she's already a vampire. Moot point.

Also he is totally not freaking out. He's just judging. Mostly. ]

You two have a lot in common. You know, hobbies. Favorite foods. You're not planning on taking her out to dinner or anything, are you?

You're a nurse in Boston? That can't just be a coincidence. Do you happen to know a man named Josh?

ER, mostly. [ Occasionally hospice, when he needs to get away from the blood. ]

We met. She gave me the tour. [ Someone has to teach her how not to be a shitty vampire. ]

I think she's taken, actually. [ Because missing the point is so fun when it's Josh. ]

I've been at SCH for a little over two years now. [ Suffolk County Hospital, that is, in the small-town end of Boston. And now for more acronyms. ] Mostly in the ER or the ICU.

[ And Aidan lets out a low chuckle, because of how bad he wants to point out that Josh, on the other hand, is not a nurse. But his buddy's finally in a place where a million years of college degrees isn't the prerequisite to even look at a hospital, so Aidan's not going to step on Josh's big opportunity. ]

He's my roommate, actually.

Oh, like Scott's mom. She's an ER nurse too. So you get the accidents usually, right?

Any horror stories?

Yeah? I'm glad you've both got a familiar face around, then. Josh seemed like a nice guy when I talked to him, if a little bit jumpy. Having friends here helps.

He's a little quirky, sure, but he really is a great guy. [ Not that she said he wasn't--he's more agreeing with her than anything.

Plenty. [ But do you hear that tone, Isaac? That's his 'there are too many of them to even begin to tell you, even if you weren't just a kid' tone. ]

[ Jenna herself happens to disagree, from how Aidan hears it. But that's beside the point. ] Yeah.

She told me to get in touch with Medical and tell them she sent me. [ Which all and all, they hadn't seemed so fond of so far, but that amuses Aidan more than anything. ]

A nurse, yeah?

[Her expression was mostly unreadable but there's a faint smile twitching at her lips.]

[growling]

Wow, you're hilarious. I'd almost forgotten how hilarious you are. You know what I mean - it never really ends well when you hang out with other... drinkers. [ He's making a slightly confused face as he says that, because actually, it isn't so much an analogy in Jenna's case if the subtle hints about booze she's dropped mean anything. ]

Quirky is hardly a blip on the radar. Work with the people I know for long enough, it's normal that starts to scare you.
