[It would have started out as a video, but really, she's annoyed and this is a general PSA.]

One would think this goes without saying, but seeing as this is the second time it has happened on my stay here, I would like to say that if you seek medical attention for any reason, please do come to the medbay. I know we all have our trust issues, but having bodies hit the floor without knowing who they are or what is happening makes our job a lot harder. It only wastes time, literal life saving time.

And while I'm on it, if you see someone passed out, it is also not wise to move them unless you're trained to do so. Internal damage is not always noticed.

[There's a pause before she adds.]

Also the girl Charles Xavier found is in recovery now. She should be waking up soon.

I assume there's still no word on how she came to be unconscious in the first place is there? [Seriously. He has legitimate questions and Katniss isn't conscious so he can't demand answers.]

You do realize this is highly private medical information. Can you at least give me proof you know her?

[With a bit of an edge to his voice.] Her name's Katniss Everdeen. She should be seventeen years old. Hair's done up in a braid. She's from District Twelve, like me. Can't imagine why I'd be making this up for a spitfire I don't know.

I do not know her, but you seem close enough to her. Her spleen had ruptured. I needed to preform emergency surgery on her. She is in recovery now, but will need to be caerful of that side of her body.

We are all just as trapped. None are crew, just doctors from our own worlds.

Cancer is certainly a thing that the doctors should know about, but he's leery of the information becoming public knowledge (being a public figure he's well aware that leaks do happen) and he's already declined medical treatment before he arrived here.]

If you're intending on hiding something, collapsing in public hardly seems the right way to go about it.

I do not know about other worlds, but I still try and abide the laws of my world. There is a such thing as doctor/ patient confidentiality. I realize that this cannot always be applied, but there is no point in hiding medical conditions here. Not when we do not know how long we will be here or what this place can do to make it worse.

There are also those that have resigned themselves to whatever comes or choose not to speak or even accept help due to personal beliefs. It does make your jobs harder, but we do all make our own choices.

Well they're going to get it eventually. When they pass out and someone has to deal with them.

Then on that note, would you be able to get me some sleeping pills for my insomnia?

I know what you were asking. And I'm still a licensed medical professional who is not about to give out a young woman's medical information to an unknown person.
