Tranquility.

[ It's with a warm sort of politesse that Petyr addresses the network this time around, a crimson sash draped over one of his shoulders and a new set of robes upon his frame. Visible next to him, at the fringe of the image, is a girl with chestnut brown hair and her hands folded in her lap, who should prove familiar to at least some upon the ship. ]

I inquired some months ago as to the existence of a physical library, and was informed that the ship lacked such a facility. As such, I have taken it upon myself to begin one for the sake of those who would prefer the feel of a solid page than the, ah. Furnishings that the ship provides. My collection is meager, but it is more than what was available upon my arrival. Should you care to take advantage of it, I can be found upon the fifth level, next to the quarters that Alayne Stone — [ at the mention, the girl sitting next to him smiles prettily and offers up a wave ] — keeps as a seamstress. She has offered her help in my endeavor, to care for the books in my absence.

That said, should you be willing to part with them, we would greatly appreciate any spare books that you might have. This service is without charge, and meant simply for the comfort of those upon the ship.

I have taken the liberty of attaching the list of the books collected so far, and hope that some of you, at least, will find some use in it.

[ And, with a duck of his head, the feed cuts out. ]

ATTACHMENT.

[ Lydia has vague knowledge that you two are related, because she can read. That does not, under any circumstances make her feel less at ease with Alayne sitting next to Petyr and waving. (Then again, Petyr, you seem nice, maybe Alayne just talks to Peter and that's the end of her creepy older male thing.)

Still. Books. Books she might actually want to read. ]

If we're new we don't know where those quarters are exactly. Five floors is kind of a large distance here.

[ This girl has red hair which makes Alayne both eager to meet her but also frightfully jealous in secret. Even after all this time, she thinks Tully fire catches the eye quickest and is least likely to let go — all the more reason to cover Sansa's with a chestnut brown — but still part of her covets to have her hair undyed once again.

Still, she smiles.
] It would prove no difficulty at all. We are not so far from the lift as to prove taxing. [ A pause and Alayne nods. ] All you need do is turn left. And look for the wolf.

[ And with a smile from both of them, Lydia can't help but give one of her own. It's genuine, for the most part, because here they are being nice to her and offering to help and they barely even know her. ]

I was just going to ask for the room number, but if you're offering, I guess it wouldn't hurt to make sure I don't get completely lost. [ And then she raises an eyebrow. ] A wolf? As in an actual, living and breathing wolf.

[ A direwolf. An unfamiliar beast to some, a frightening realization to others. Rather than explain — and perhaps insult the young woman's intelligence — she offers instead: ] Are you familiar with such a creature? I promise you, she will not harm you. Even if you do not take well to beasts.

I'm familiar with wolves. [ The direwolf reminds Lydia of Peter, even if their colors are complete and total opposites. It's the fact that it's not just a normal wolf that makes her feel uneasy. ( She won't call it fear, but it's close enough, unfortunately. ) ] I have several wolves back at home around me. One is my personal companion, it won't be an issue. I just- You rarely get to see anyone let alone someone like you with any sort of wolf.

[ A pause. ] She's honestly controlled? I'm not worried, but I know how out of control they can get.
