Okay, listen up. I'm not messing around here. Has anybody seen Rory? You know, skinny guy, bit of a nose. He is-- was a nurse. It's debatable. Whatever. That part's not important anyway. I can't find him. [ she's rambling because she's actually nervous, if it isn't obvious by her slightly shaky tone of voice. ] And not just Rory. What about— err, me? And yes, I actually mean me. The other Amy Pond. We were supposed to finally meet and sort all this madness out, and now— well, I can't get a hold of her either.

[ yeah, she knows how that sounds. 'maybe they ran off together.' don't worry, the thought already crossed her mind considering rory was the other amy pond's fiancee, too. as much as she didn't want to admit it. ]

People can't just disappear here, can they? We're on a bloody spaceship that doesn't really make very many stops! Unless they—

[ she looks like she might keep going (because she really could), but instead she just drops her forehead into her hand. that morbid thought is too horrible to entertain. so, instead, she takes a deep breath. ]

How many times is this going to happen?

They don't really go out with a bang when they...leave or whatever. Randomly poofing is a lot better than the alternative.

I'm sorry. We don't know even know for sure where they go, much less how to contact them.

Disappearances happen more often than the deaths. If no one's found -

[ bodies, she thinks, but it's pretty clear that the woman won't handle that term very well. ]

- If you haven't found any kind of evidence suggesting they've died, they've probably just disappeared.

And once again, that's not exactly reassuring. Even though I'm still not sure what's worse.

[ depending on where (or when) they might have left to. probably better than finding a body (amy knows that's where the sentence was going). regardless, it all has upped her abandonment issues by 9000. ]

I can't find anything, which was the problem. I wish I had some sort of clue. No one has been able to figure it out I'm guessing?

[ she's not sure what's worse, either. she's glad clint hadn't become a puddle on the floor, but after being lost in the labyrinth of hallways concealed within the ship, she's not sure whether or not it's worse to not know what happened to him. ]

From what I've seen people will just dissapear without a trace. [ she thinks of blaine. and then of santana and brittany. it hurts. it's not fair, but then very little on this ship actually is. ] I lost three of my friends that way.

No, I'm sorry you lost your friends that way. With so much ... dying happening around here, I suppose I jumped to conclusions, thinking there wasn't any other way off this ship.

[ quinn smiles sadly. she's heard people who have theories that those people don't really go home. that they're somewhere worse, but she's not about to talk about that. because talking about that would acknowledge it as an idea and NO THANK YOU. ]

Sometimes they come back. [ the other girl does deserve some hope. ] I think there are a few people who have been here before. But they don't always remember.

People here do disappear sometimes. Usually between jumps. One of my crew reported that she was here once before, woke up in the same second she left from at home, and then ended up here again after a while.

[Shepard purses her lips, looking thoughtful and a little sad all at once]

She's gone too, so hopefully she's just back where she belongs. Same thing probably happened to your friend. No one dies quietly without notice, here.

Timey wimey, eh? Sounds a bit familiar. Almost exactly like the place I was trapped in before. It had the same convenient travelling effect, I mean.

[ she tries to inject a little humor, with a small frown still present, but she's so torn up that it's hard to tell if it's out of sheer frustration or finally snapping. hopefully the former. ]

I hope they all are, too. And I wish I could say I'm grateful for that, but none of this should even be happening.

I'm sorry. If they've disappeared-- I don't really think there's much of a way to tell. The ship seems to work in mysterious ways like that.
