I'm not like most kings.

Aye, I can see that. [ There's sarcasm, but also honesty. ] Mayhaps most kings wouldn't even think t' discuss settlin' wildlings south o' your precious Wall.

And you've known many kings south of the Wall?

None but you.

[ Thinks for a moment. ] There is that other one—Stannis Baratheon.

[ She pauses. ] D'you know 'im?

I only know tales of him. I knew his brother, King Robert Baratheon, the first of his name. My lord father met Lord Stannis, but I was barely a babe when all of that took place.
