[The video feed turns on to reveal a young woman with long, green curly hair, looking quizzically forward.]

What... What is this?

[Slowly, a fingernail moved forward to tap the screen, and Terra's eyes widened as she realized the device was indeed recording her... somehow.]

I... I don't know where I am. I don't know what happened.

[She's hesitant to ask for the names of her friends, in case something had happened, in case they were being hunted down. But even so...]

I heard we're in outer Space. But... I don't know how that's possible. What happened to the Earth? Is it...

[She swallows, thinking about it. The Earth. It had been destroyed, hadn't it? She attempts to shut off the device quickly, contemplating what this meant. Her friends, everyone she knew: gone. The entire world, both races she belonged to: extinct. Unfortunately, she couldn't figure out how to turn the device off. The video shows her face growing blank as she withdraws into herself, unknowing of how to cope with this.

Death. That was all she ever knew.]

[ For the most part, Kara doesn't usually worry too much about the network right after the jump - opting to focus her attention (and frustration) on the shuttles. But even with that, she obviously can't help but take notice the woman looking more panicked then she perhaps should on it.

The faster you accept that you're in space and not on Earth, the easier it will be.

[Terra does realize she's in Space, but it's so foreign to her. Never has any technology in her world come even close to reaching the edge of the skies.

Still, she doesn't know what to say, exactly. She pauses for a few moments, her gaze facing away from the camera initially. Finally her eyes focus back onto the screen as she speaks.]

I... just want to know what happened to Earth.

[ There's a pause on her end, and the sound of tinkering can be heard, before she is setting the wrench down she was using and focusing her attention on her next few words. ]

I wouldn't know. [ a beat ] I'm not from Earth, so your guess is as good as mine.

[The thought had hardly occurred to Terra that there were other worlds out there with other lifeforms. Space was something she barely understood; to her, it simply meant that they were flying amongst the stars.]

So... [She pauses, thinking on this.]

There are other worlds, then.

[She wants to ask a million questions but at the same time does not. So, she just sits back, her gaze shifting to the side to ponder the meaning of all this.]

Uh-hu. [ There's a small pause on her end then, as she quickly considers just how much she wants to talk to this woman about her life and just how much she wants to know about hers. ]

I'm Caprica...[ A short pause ] Which I'm figuring you have no idea about. So we seem to be both at a standstill in understanding about the others planet.

[Terra give a slow nod in response. No, she has no idea about the other.]

It seems that way.

[She pauses again and finally asks a question.]

What is your name?

Fret not, your world remains as it were.

[Terra does look slightly relieved to hear this, but she's still not sure whether to believe it. Did this person witness her world practically crumbling to pieces before she woke up here?]

Who are you?

I am one of many names; but you are within a multi-dimentional space, if you will. Be this a familiar concept to you?

[She looks back at the video in confusion. She barely knows what that means.]

...No. I'm not sure what you're saying.

Tis not a worry. What may comfort you is this: your world continues on how it should.

[That's not really a comfort, unfortunately, given the situation Terra ended up here.]

What do you know about my world?

None, to be true. I do, however, know the working of this.

[Then she's hesitant to reveal anything more about the state of her world.]

Why did I end up here?

Might is be difficult to explain should thee know so little of multi-dimensional portals. To be as simple as one can, it is complete random. Simply, the portal consumes because it is it's nature to.

[Terra contemplates this for a moment. She hasn't found anyone else she knows here on this ship, so now her worries lie with their fates.]

[Oh, what a cute little kid. She smiles back at her, feeling slightly more at ease, but at the same time concerned.]

Which... Earth? Huh?

There's only one Earth, I thought.

[Now she's wide-eyed in confusion.]

No. There's a lot. Three in my solar system, and a lot of people seem to be in different versions of earth.

It's quite a popular planet.

[Terra can hardly believe it, but she knows so little about anything outside of Earth, so she'll go with it.]

I'm from the Earth, then, with...

[She pauses. She doesn't want to mention the destruction, the Floating Continent, or anything.]

The War of the Magi occurred a thousand years prior. There are humans and Espers, but they don't live amongst one another.

What about you? Where are you from?

We have Magi. Mages, I mean. One of them is ruling the entirety of Heaven's Fence.

[She's surprised. Magic was such a taboo, rare thing where Terra came from.]

Where does... the magic come from, then?

It depends on who you ask, miss. Either faith or science.
