[There really is no segue-in for this. Just soft music playing quietly for a while--a little static-y, as if it were playing on an old-fashioned record player--and then about a third of the way through a beautiful voice starts singing, hitting every high note perfectly.]

[The voice stops singing and the rest of the song plays through, and that's all there is. He said he's sing for everyone on the ship someday, but didn't think it would be like this.]

[Alex hasn't heard a lot of music lately, so the sudden song coming from the comm catches him off guard at first—and then of course when he recognizes who's posting, he's instantly relieved. He's been holed up in his room for the most part, but now that he was feeling better messaging people wasn't as hard a task.

Though, 'hey you're not dead' isn't a good conversational piece, and he was actually a little too lost in the familiarity of the lyrics--not the words really, but the thoughts behind them--to even start off that way anyway.]

... I know the feeling.

[Geez, did something happen to him between then and now, too? Maybe it was just that it was a sad song, but it seemed genuine enough.]
