[ Daenerys has kept quiet minus speaking with a few others. She's been gathering her bearings, trying to learn what she can but it hasn't been much - not when things are so different.

Which is partially why she's posting now. There haven't been many that have found this all too strange (minus the confusion that she's heard) ]

I am awed [ worried. curious. confused ] by our presence here.

The magic that brought us here is great, and to be feared.

I have travelled by ship before, my brother told, and also by horse. I find it strange to travel but it be without my silver, and with no water to be had. This ship- it is grand. I- [ Fear. No. She may fear such things, past experience giving her cause to but she cannot admit to it ] I give caution to believing the magic - it is more deceptive than you see.

I- [ Daenerys stops before answering. Does she need anything? She has what she needs, for the moment at least, but she has been shown more here than she could ever have thought before. It makes her feel lost, and less than she ever could have thought ]

[ Her handmaidens have often before gotten her things without her knowing that she's wanted them, or even things that she hadn't thought of and found them to be helpful. What Daenerys wants not she can't have - either from passing or seeming impossibility ]

[ Daenerys speaks carefully, unsure of how he may react to her confirmation. Magic is not a good thing where she is from, Daenerys had learned that rather swiftly. She also wouldn't say that she understood it, other than it being a great, evil power ]

[ Ros has had to wait on other women before but it's always been other whores, older ladies in the brothels who outstripped her or held more clout. She's seen noble ladies in both the North and the South and have heard her fair share of gossip of them; but Ros has never had to serve one before (never had to service on either). I guess that none of the ships you've ever seen or been on were anything like this one.
It looks like there are quite a few people who aren't especially familiar with science and technology.
But everyone's pretty much spot on saying that's what it is, even though that doesn't explain exactly how we arrive here.
Anyway, it sounds like you don't really remember traveling by ship because you said that's something your bro mentioned.
So horses are definitely more common where you're from?

[ Daenerys can certainly read the text, if having to adjust to it - it's so different to the texts that she has read. Although Daenerys knows her letters though she does not know how to respond with such (technology what), so her respondant is met with her pretty face still ]
