New people, an' anyone who doesn't know how hydroponics work - don't try to plant anything in the Gardens that still has soil attached to it. It clogs up the whole row, sucks to clean it out. If y'have a plant from home, or whatever, we've got some people who can help. For free. One of 'em can even bring produce up to your floor.

Ask them, or me. One of us will prob'ly know. Just don't go screwing up the Gardens because you weren't thinkin'.

Some of 'em didn't know a damn thing when they signed on, but they all learned quick enough - [That. Might be some sort of vague praise for the current crew, there.] - so the rest of you can, too.

Hydroponics - growin' plants without dirt. Y'use water instead.

I'd be willing to help in what ways I can. Though it's been years since I've helped farm, and never without dirt.

Are you physically capable of lifting a potentially heavy chair? You're sort of on the tall side, so I'd imagine you are, but I just want to make certain before I go any further.

Brilliant! Now I can ask the other question. Would you at all be interested in assisting myself and Topher--you know Topher Brink, right? Would you be at all interested in helping us...relocate a chair.

We sort of need a large chair, and moving anything from one end of the ship to the other is no small task, I'm sure you're aware. I'm not--I'll be honest, this body is not exactly a pinnacle of human strength, and between you and me, Topher isn't either.
