I suppose that would depend on the specific definition of "a lot". It's a large ship, and 'missing' can be something as simple as a curious stroll gone on longer than expected, when in the wrong perspective.

But people have gone unaccounted for.

[That definitely dredges up an awful knot in the pit of his stomach, because that's not... something he wanted to revisit. People going missing. He tries not to let his mind jump to 'everyone's going to vanish jesus', because it's completely illogical and people go missing all the time in reality. Part of him still thinks Silent Hill's fucking with him.

Still. He'd keep an eye out for the people who are missing, if they're looking for them. It's the least he can try to do. Even if he's incredulous to trusting anyone right now.
