[The feed starts and all you see is Superboy's bemused face. He's obviously having second thoughts about this already... but there's no going back.]

Uh, so. Something happened. I know it's been a while since that stuff with the gas happened, but I don't know how to make things better.

And I'm not good with words, either. So I tried to make holograms to explain what happened, but I'm not as good with the machinery in here yet to manage that... have some drawings instead.



 

I totally broke his back. So... uh, how do you say 'sorry' to somebody when you've done something like this?

[This isn't easy and Kaldur knows. Conner had always been concerned about potentially harming others, being too dangerous.]

Conner...you know Robin would not blame you, but if you feel so deeply about this, an apology can mean more than you realize.

I have tried to apologize, and he's told me it's not my fault. But I want to- I want to do something to make up for this.

I need to make it better.

A less direct approach may be needed. [He feels for Conner. He does not know how he would have faired in this situation. He wishes he knew more and could help him.] If you do not feel your apology is enough, perhaps working as his legs until they are well again might.

[He nods at him. He's frowning visibly less, and his jaw is less tight. Talking to Kaldur is always shooting to him, calming. Like reassuring words from a father or an elder brother.]

I will do that, I'm trying to already. But I'm not really nurse material.
