Look, I apologize in advance for the lack of filters on this message. The technology here is a bit more than I'm used to; still trying to get the hang of it.

Letting out a breath, he works his jaw slightly, again taking time to phrase out his words. Calling people out on the network is always a gamble, and as he hasn't learned how to sort through the system yet, he isn't even sure if these people are here. But hey--it's worth a shot.]

First off--if anyone knows a guy named Eames, Arthur, or a girl named Ariadne [He thinks that was her name] I'd appreciate if you or they got in touch with me. I got some information that might interest them.

[He shifts in his seat, leaning forward slightly.]

I was wondering if there are any sparring groups set up on board already? Working out by myself is fine, but I'd rather have someone to go up against if possible.

[And then the big question; the one that's been bothering him since he arrived here. He hates talking so much as it is (when half the people aren't really going to give a shit, at least), but this one was probably the most important.]

And... does anyone know if there is a secure bunker on board? Like 'survive a nuclear explosion' secure.

[He needed somewhere to practice his powers, damn it, without blowing a hole in the hull.]

Of course you would be. [ Because Erik needs enough tension release that isn't holding fights with everyone else, and this Alex seems capable enough to talk to him openly. ]

Give me a time and place and I'll be there. Same goes for the bunker, though I'd assume your powers are intact enough.

What about tomorrow? The gym?

[The bunker is going to take a while.]

[ There's a hint of amusement at that, though not in a mocking sense. ]

[And Alex switches over to video, looking almost nonplussed. He shouldn't have been surprised that Erik was asking.

You want a show? Fine.

Holding up his hand, he presses his lips together, and after a few moments the sensors on his suit light up, leading down his arm...and his forearm and hand become engulfed in a low show of plasma. It's clear that doing it--controlling it, isn't the easiest for him, but it's something. Blue eyes staying on his hand, he forces the plasma back down (the suit absorbing it); he lets out a held breath, a small smirk hitting his lips.

Maybe he's proud of himself each time he manages that.]

[ He watches with mild amusement, the smirk on his face only widening when Alex offers him what is near perfect control over his mutation. Last few times they ever did talk over it, Erik knew he was having issues, his ability only perfected the day when they went after Shaw. ]

What about against a person?

I can do what I have to.

I'm getting to where I can just stun someone...

[He shrugs.]

Last time I used it against anything it was in a full out, chaotic battle.

Try me some day, will you? [ It's a genuine offer on Erik's part, to properly train against Alex, despite their own differences. ]

It certainly won't be any combat, but at least you'd have an opponent.

[Alex blinks, raising an eyebrow.]

You trust me enough for that?

[Not that he can *do* it, but that he won't do something...shady.]

You haven't given me a reason not to, despite what version of Erik you're familiar with.

[ He's willing to give him all the chances as needed, because Erik didn't have an issue with Alex in the slightest; he doesn't fault him for siding with Charles, for not coming with him that day on the beach, and while they may be antagonistic right now with each other, he doesn't have any personal grievances with the younger mutant. ]

[Alex watches him for a few moments, trying to determine if he could really believe what Erik was saying.

And finally, he nods.]
