[Anyone in the vicinity of the genetics lab would have heard the explosion, but even those that hadn’t would have likely felt the shudder and shake of the walls as they caved in on each other. The smoke streams from the doors that had once led to the sinister laboratory, and everyone who may be curious enough to investigate wouldn’t notice the two figures slipping silently and quickly away from the scene of the crime.
About fifteen minutes later, Heine finally makes the broadcast. His face is smudged with smoke and grime, and he’s clearly seen better days, but his face is set in stone, not giving away anything but his usual gruff exterior.]
...This a general call out to the ship. There’s been an explosion in the genetics lab, and from the looks of things there’s a lot of smoke. The fire is contained but I wouldn’t go in there until it’s out.
[He pauses, shifting the comm device so that it barely catches a mop of blonde hair that is huddled next to him before it settles briefly on the smoke that trindles from the hallway leading towards the lab.]
Do yourself a favour and don’t be a fucking idiot trying to go in there and salvage anything.
[At this point, Nill reaches for his hands so she can direct the camera at herself. Her hair is ruffled and she, too, looks as if she’s a little roughed up, but it isn’t anything serious. Carefully, she types:]
Please be careful. It looks bad.

I know that it looks like I did it, but before any of you decide to try and question the hell out of me, Nill and I saw someone leaving the area just after the explosion went off. I’d go after him but I need to look after Nill- she got caught in the blast too. I’ve shut down the area as best as I could but like I said...looks like we need to get a crew in there to put it out.
Ask me whatever the hell you want after we get this under control. We’ll be in our room.
[Click.]
[Heine will be answering questions a little later, as will Nill! Any SEC members that want to come and question either of them are welcome to at their room or over the com devices c: Have fun interrogating them <3 And to anyone wondering what this is all about please see here!]

What are you doing, letting Nill near something like that? You idiot.
[hi Heine. Francis has been meaning to meet you for a long time now]

We were just walking.

Walking too close. Are you okay?

We were walking. You think I would have let her near that voluntarily?

[There's something distinctly cold and hard in Heine's voice that is very different from how he usually speaks.]
Like what?

Jesus Christ, Heine.
I swear if you did this, and put Nill in danger, I'll kill you.
I'm coming down to see both of you.
[He doesn't trust that Heine wouldn't lie. And if there is someone burning shit down, they need to find that person. They can't have this stuff going down. Nill being involved makes this worse.]

[He'd say more normally. He'd defend himself, say that he would never put Nill in harm's way, but she was adamant about coming. This was her choice. He offered it to her because he knew how much she hated that genetics lab, and it was only fair that she was there to help too. But he doesn't let Alex know that even if he practically the one person on board that he may actually like.]
Door's open.

[Although, to be fair, Heine is glad that at least someone else on board sees it that way.]
Blowing shit up isn't exactly 'promoting a peaceful lifestyle' on board the ship.

[She scrubs a hand back through her hair, unsure whether to be concerned about someone setting something like this off - and if they might do it again in future - or pleased that the genetics lab is no longer an issue.]
Guess that's one way to get rid of those fucking rats.

I'll go.
[The heat doesn't bother him, and he should be fine around the flames. Shame blasting it wouldn't work--but that would just explode more things.]
We need to figure out who the fuck did this.
[If it was the 'mysterious person' or Heine himself.]

Not to be a pessimist, but my guess is that they'll relocate. Hopefully not any closer, but... [ shrug. ]
Either way, I'm heading there now.
[ He's not too horribly bothered about the genetics labs themselves being gone, but fire is bad. ]
