[After a moment's fiddling where muted swearing can be heard but precious little seen the feed flicks on to display one terribly bored looking tanned elf. Between the set of his jaw and the twist of his lips the displeasure he's been feeling for the last however long is quite visible, though he does his best to put on a charming smile for the ship.]

I know when we arrive on this very fine vessel we are given, without our consent, a mark for purposes in keeping tally of who is on the ship, translation, so on and so forth. And while it is a nicely done tattoo it is not precisely to my taste, mm?

[He turns his cheek to the camera, tracing a line up the black curves marked up from jaw to temple.]

These now, I like a great deal more and it makes me wonder if there is anyone else that would rather regain just a little bit of themselves by choosing a tattoo of their own design and placement to make up for what was graciously given without asking. I've skill and experience in the art and would be willing to lend my services to anyone interested.

My supplies at the moment are somewhat limited but depending upon what you would like done I am certain we could come to some sort of arrangement.

[Please. Someone. Anyone. It'll be something to do, some sort of project, something to focus on and while his expression is not quite pleading it is eager for some manner conversation centered around something he can understand for once.]

You seem paler than most men I've met, at least most that are not nobles and do forgive the assumption, Ser, but you do not exactly seem like a noble. What makes this fortunate is that fairer skin tends to take ink better than those with darker skin.

Oooh. Now that is a striking medallion. I've not seen the like before. Might I ask it's significance?

[He really is terribly curious- something made like that usually was bound to a noble bloodline- a guild, a religious order of some sort. Things such as that had a story and Zevran did so love to hear new tales.]

Mine? Are a symbol of my status among the Crows.

[ He regards the medallion for a moment, glancing down at it. ] It's given to Witchers raised and trained in the School of the Wolf - Kaer Morhen. Unless you hail from the Northern Kingdoms I'd doubt you'd have seen it in your world.

[ And it's also his magical do-hicky that tells him which flowers to pick, with the added Danger Will Robinson feature. There's an eyebrow quirk at the answer received. ]

Mm. I've not heard of such an organization or place in Thedas, and unless they are particularly secretive. Which could very well be the case.

[Witcher- now that is a fascinating term. He'll add it to his list of things to ask about.]

Indeed, I do not. The Crows are a rather infamous guild of assassins in Antiva, renown for always finishing the job.

I've not heard of Thedas at all, so, I suppose secretive or not, it isn't much of a surprise. Nor have I heard of the Crows.

[ Though assassins seem like a group that would benefit more from secrecy. Still, it makes sense for a guild to be famed - at least so you know you're getting quality work. And he'll just... not think too long on the issues with assassins he'd been having lately. ]

I can't say I've ever known assassins to advertise so freely.

We are payed for killing, not for silence.

[He shrugs, work was work, they were known to those that needed to know of them, feared by those that needed to fear them. All and all it was a solid arrangement.]

And the friends of those you kill don't take it on themselves to exact revenge?

[ In the Northern Kingdoms, you'd have to do some searching to find who is makes a clean kill and get away. Being easy to find doesn't speak much for the talent. ]

Most of the cells are skilled enough to defend themselves should anyone attack. It is not as though targeting a Crow is enough to bring the entire guild down upon one's head- but it tends to be understood that it is foolish to attack a Crow for doing their work. Find the one that hired the Crow, and you have the one you should be killing.
