It's been a rather interesting time on the ark, hasn't it?
People getting circulated through the halls like mice enduring the wheel, hostile take-overs by blue bobble-headed bastards, and now demons. My my. What will they think of next?
No, really, what is our host with the most up to?
I'm sure our fearless leaders are scratching their brains trying to come up with a solution for this conundrum, and our techdarlings are digging away day and night. Some have even offered souls up to the so-called angel in hopes of getting some illusion of security; I really do hope those investors are enjoying their purchase of contentment until the next jump.
Before anyone asks, though: no, this is not another cry for answers or an offer for a solution. I'm not much of one for repetition.
Actually, I'm taking bets for after the jump. Anyone interested? Currency here comes in many forms, so let's not dig to deep in our pockets to consider if that ball of lint was once something like a coin. Those toffees you've been pinching from the kitchen will do. Maybe.

How's he prospecting going, darling? I hope you've gotten at least a few answers to show from it.
[ You didn't really think he wasn't watching you, Yoite, did you? You're his favorite person right now! What with all of his demons gone and -- actually, he's rather pissed. But it's not like you had anything else to do, really. ]

Care to postulate?

Not sure why I should really.

[ Yoite doesn't answer his question, though the frown is evident in his voice. ]
Your friends are all gone.

Yes, I suppose they are. Interesting, how they were tidied up right in time for the jump.
[ Ship, you are a real bitch, and if he hadn't disliked this place before, he's feeling rather vicious about it now. ]
But I've still got you, don't I?
[ There's a grin implied in his voice, full of teeth and none-too-kind. He's still got you, Yoite, and fingers wrapped firmly around your collar. Keep talking trash. ]
And I suppose that's better than nothing.
You know, you're very lucky that angels are stupid. Those were some very informed questions to ask, for a civilian.

I didn't ask him anything of consequence. If I'm going to have a deal with a demon, I may as well know all aspects of what I'm dealing with. It's business.
[ I've still got you. It takes everything in his power to keep from shuddering right out at the fact. Crowley reminds him of uglier times, most of which are shrouded in black and he doesn't quite remember. Post traumatic stress disorder, Ms. Amatatsu calls it. He calls it a blessing. ] You have me, but whether you intend to do anything with me is the real question.

[ Idiot is implied in the sardonic tone. Ugly times are what Crowley has right now, and doesn't misery love company? ]
Oh, I'm sorry. Are you getting bored? Is that it?
[ It sounds like a threat. It is. ]

[ He recognizes a threat when he hears it - just as he recognizes a rhetorical question and goes tight-lipped at once, furrowing his eyebrows at Crowley and not quite to answering yet. ]
[ This isn't like Hattori. He doesn't know what cards the man - thing? Demon? - is holding or how he wants to play any of them. And he is being unnecessarily subversive. His voice goes a bit meeker, more careful in its approach to the situation. ]
He said he's an angel. What does that mean for you or me?

Seems to me your definition of 'awesome' could use more work than that tin can swarm you scraped together.
