[The voice coming over the network is recognizably female and perhaps a tad freaked out. But, overall, she sounds mostly pulled together. Considering that she's definitely not in Kansas anymore.]
Um... Hello? Is anyone there? I think this is a telephone... but it looks more like something out of John's science-fiction shows. [There's the sound of some buttons being pressed, as if whoever's using the device has no idea what she's doing. The voice is growing more irritated.]
Is this thing even on? [A sigh.] Well, if anyone can hear me, my name is Mary Winchester and I could really use some help.
[More button pressing and the transmission ends.]

Yes! Hi. Hello. I'm not sure 'fun' is the word I'd use but... [At least someone responded and the relief is evident in her voice.] If you don't mind me asking, who are you?
anon text; forever
You had the whole spaceship spiel given to you yet?
audio;
Inmate? So we're trapped here. [A pause.] Someone did mention that we were on a spaceship, but I still don't really believe it. He didn't say any more than that.

Seems that way. Unless you've got a shuttle hidden in your locker.

Still no idea
Who the fuck knows
We've all been asking the same questions. No one's got the answers we need. Your choices are to either deal with it, or lose your fucking mind worrying about something you can't change.

[There might have been the slightest bit of sarcasm to that last bit, or you could have just been imagining things.]
If you don't mind me asking, why do you write in text?

I'm mute, and very sensitive about it. Thanks.
audio;
You're on a ship. Should be a locker close by with your stuff in it.
audio;
And yes, I found the locker with my things in it. [Although there wasn't much in there, and what there was only made her worry.]
audio;
I can try to help, if you still need it.
audio;
A spaceship? No, that can't be. Spaceships don't exist, at least none like this. How is that even possible? [This has to be a dream or a mass hallucination, something. It can't possibly be real, there must be something supernatural behind it.]
[When she speaks again, her tone is softer and you can almost hear the smile in her voice.] Well, it doesn't sound like you know much more than I do but maybe you could tell me how this thing works, if you know. [She's speaking of the communicator.] What's your name anyway?
audio;
It's, uh, weird to me too. I've figured out off, on, video, audio and text, though? [ There's a shrug in his tone. He wishes he could be more help. ] I'm Alex Summers. Mary, right?
audio -> video;
[There's some shuffling sounds as she fiddles with the communicator. She presses buttons for a few moments and finally manages to turn on the video function. She peers curiously into the feed, her blond hair messy and still a bit damp.] Can you see me now?
[She smiles.] And yes, I'm Mary. It's very nice to meet you, Alex.
audio -> video;
[ Not said sarcastically. 1962 kid here knows how difficult messing with this thing is and how much time you spend looking like an idiot while screwing it up. He attempts a half-smile, trying to do friendly. ] Cool to meet you too.
[ Okay, so, explaining. He holds up his arm, showing the number inked to it. ] So, the number you've got goes with a room number too, so you could check that out for a bed and desk and shi-- stuff. [ She's so cheery and polite so cursing around her seems weird. Derp. ]
video;
[Mary's feeling worse and worse about this place. She looks down at the number on her own arm.]
005 112. Does it mean anything?
video;
[ But stuck on a spaceship in the middle of who even knows where? Not like he has much choice at the moment. ]
If it does, I haven't figured it out yet.
video;
Listen, I know this is going to sound strange but have you noticed anything weird happening? I mean, aside from the whole being on spaceship thing. Cold spots, flickering lights, the smell of sulfer, anything like that?
video;
He raised an eyebrow at the question, but humors it anyway. ] Nah, can't say I have. Why?
video;
But if anything like that starts happening, let me know, alright?
video;
You'll be the first to hear it.

Believe what you wanna believe, luv. But s'far as I know, we're onna ship in space. I ain't gotta clue how we got here--just woke up in the goo and I've been here ever since.

[Mary is still incredibly confused as to why any of them are here. What could possibly be the purpose of bringing all of them together on this ship?]
video;
[He smirks.]
Oh, there was also some mutiny, and changin' corridors and blood and skeletons and stuff, but if ignore all that, there ain't really much t'do.

Thank you though. At least people here seem to be willing to help, even if they can't offer much. Are you new here as well? Or have you been here a while like some of the others.

Great. Thank you! I'm mostly just looking for information. I just- I don't even know where to begin. This is just so...
voice;
You weren't totally off with assuming this is something from a science fiction show, considering this is a spaceship.
voice;
And I guess you already know from my little speech earlier, but my name's Mary. It's really nice to meet you. If fact, you're about the nicest person I've met here so far.
