oo1 ♫ video

[Here's another new arrival for you all-- This time it's a pale, puffy-eyed teenager, who looks tense and irritable and as though he'd been crying for quite a while. He definitely had time to wash himself up and style his hair, and he sort of idly fixes it for the camera before he speaks.]

The worst part about this is that I don't even like science fiction movies.

[A sigh, and he sits back, crossing his legs.] I'm still not entirely convinced that this isn't some sort of lengthy, incredibly involved nightmare that'll later be translated into a deep-rooted fear of mushrooms or something--but I'll play along. Where are we headed, exactly? Who else is here? And where can I find something decent to wear?

It's my dream. I might as well look good in it.

We don't know. Quite a few of us. And I'm afraid these are all we have. Unfortunate, but there you have it.

It's not a dream. And it's not the moon either, I checked.

[ who needs hellos, really. ]

Fifty, perhaps? Though I'll admit I haven't taken an official count.

Remus Lupin. Yourself? And the panic rather subsides after a month.

[His expression is quietly sympathetic.]

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid you can't. It's not a dream, nor is it reversible.

No, Lord Tubbington's here too. And Santana. [ she sounds supremely unconcerned about this whole space thing. ] And now you.

Are you seeking out anyone specific when you ask who else is here?
Because there happens to be a sizable number of passengers aboard the ship,
Though I think of us more like prisoners given our involuntary arrivals.
Other good questions aside from where we're headed are
Who even brought us here and for what reason.

At this point in time, we've a veritably long list of questions without answers.
I'm sure you'll think up more as time goes on.
When taking into consideration our confinement on this spaceship,
How can we not be not be prisoners?

[ quinn is just going to stare at the screen for a moment, because it's kurt. kurt. she runs a hand through her hair, and moistens her lips. there is a part of her that doesn't want to respond, because she's done with glee - done! and that includes everyone in it. and yet she can't help herself, and switches the feed on. ]

Hello, Kurt.

[ good thing she's not smoking, she doesn't want another lecture on it. ]

Excuse me, sir?

[ There's an 11 year old on the screen, smiling patiently. ]

Unfortunately, clothes should be the least of your concern. It's not my intention to alarm, but despite the number of theories this crew has come up with we're no closer to getting answers. Hypothesis's are rather difficult when there's no concrete evidence, but...

I feel like I should warn you, sir. Since no one has yet.

[ she can't help but smile, a tiny bit. she's always really liked kurt, even admired him. it really isn't fair for him to be here. ]

Of course I'm okay. [ her brown furrows. ] Why wouldn't I be.

[ she's going to assume he's referring to getting her hair cut short. she shrugs. ] Blonde got boring.

There's a difference between dramatization and actually accepting a reality that's filled with uncertainties,
But yeah.
Guess I could save that all for a rainy day or something.
Dirk Strider.
And you?

I don't really know the answers to those questions of yours, but this isn't a dream.

I'm inclined to agree, though I'm hardly lamenting the situation so much as detailing the scenario aboard this ship, which is one of captivity in the hands of an unknown person, people, or power, for similarly inexplicable reasons.
Indeed, what would you consider productive if not positing these questions or actively seeking their answers?
I guess it might be worthwhile to meet all the people from different places, times, and worlds or universes, probably throw a party and integrate into cosmic boat society because that's really productive.
