[Voice filters out of the way, Bela begins to address the ship instead.]

So, aside from the obvious desire to get off this ship, what would each of you wish for above anything else?

Makes Jim a dull boy. [She adds, giving him an impish smile.]

[he says, pointing at her with one finger over his glass.]

Never suggested that you were but a little proof of your fun side would be nice.

[Bela is teasing him on purpose.]

[he chuckles and his chin dips. it's been a while, if he's honest. the closest thing to fun he'd done was go out and party with the crew when they'd had a hero's welcome back on Earth. but almost immediately after there had been paperwork and PR and getting ready for the five year mission.

Alright, what do you do for fun?

[onsilksheets]

[she doesn't really know a lot about what he did back home but Bela figured that he had a lot of responsibility and maybe he hadn't found the chance to indulge himself a little.

Bela considers his question with a thoughtful pause before she smiles, her green eyes gleaming.]

Travelling around the world, driving my car, spending my hard earned money. A little drink and socialisation and the occasional one night stand. [A beat.] In short, I love to live life to the fullest.

I guess we have more in common than we think.

[he says with a wink.]

Other than our good looks and ability to hold a decent conversation?

[She smirks.]

[he seems to consider for a few moments.]

Getting a car up here would probably be pretty difficult.

[Bela can't help but laugh.]

Yeah, it would be. Suppose we'll just have to forget about that.

[Jim takes a sip of his drink, still seeming to mull it over.]

There's always the shuttles, of course. Hotspur's got a couple up and running, last I heard.

Would I be allowed to go in one? As a passenger of course, I'd probably crash it.

[but the delinquent is sparking Jim's eye.]
