No, but the fact that we know about what they did to those prisoners puts us in danger, too.
Odessa was terrified when I started to bring it up, like they would do something to her if anyone let on that she or we had any idea about it. That doesn't make me feel like we can trust that prime minister to keep his word.
I just can't see them treating us nicely or letting us go, knowing what we know about what happened here.

Sure we have our firepower and people who can fart lightning bolts or what have you, but they've dipped their hands in technology that we can't even BEGIN to grasp OVER A CENTURY AGO - I don't even want to imagine what they've figured out since then. I think the biggest mistake people could be making right now is underestimating what we're actually dealing with.

If that doesn't tell you enough, then for fuck's sake think about the fact that THESE PEOPLE CREATED BLACK HOLES.

Actually, I'm including EVERYTHING that we've ever dealt so far, from whatever it is that's able to pull us in and out of different realities and timelines, the black holes, turning people into monsters, the assimilation shit, the mirrors and the masks and every other mindfuck thing that's ever gone down in this fucking place. Which is coincidentally identical to the plan for running away & somehow surviving the reality-warping space alien we've only begun to control
while floating around in a damaged tin can with diminishing supplies & no idea where to go or how to get there
long enough to figure out how to keep it away from him permanently & prevent them from redeveloping the technology independently
without all being disposed of by whatever it is while we're trapped in pods so it can get back to him unopposed.
