[ A(n ongoing) series of garbled texts are sent in the days following the bisection of the ship. Many of the texts are to random recipients, sometimes in mass-text form (where available). Some of the messages will even repeat themselves from one day to the next, if anyone cares to compare notes. Anyone who receives the message and responds is apt to get a reply from Blake, who has remained restless since all of this began. ]

June 03
Random
[Some time on June 03, these messages will become more erratic and unpredictable as the isolation sickness gets worse. John will be wandering until he succumbs to the coma and stops answering completely.
Due to the strain on the communications network, it's not impossible to receive the messages in the stern of the ship, but they'll be a considerable amount of interference.

Somewhere. [Rueful about that. Right now, she's walking through an endless forest that she doesn't recognize. Someone else's dream or nightmare.]
Do you remember who you meant your first message for?
The one about coffee.

[ If the message doesn't get re-routed, re-interpreted, rejected... Honestly, for a moment he wasn't sure these messages were real or just what he was hoping to see. Several references to older texts with unchanging results leads him to believe they are real, but then again, reality seems a bit more... fluid around these parts lately. ]

[Moreso now that she knows it was Dean, because she's looking back at the way that John wrote that initial misfired text and it doesn't take telepathy or preternatural intelligence or even metamorph's intuition to sense there's something between them. Something for John, anyway. It's a very particular place your head and your heart have to be, to transform ordinary moments, like coffee and parting at a doorway into something you'd describe like that.]
But I'll try and look.
We should both try.
If you concentrate, you might be able to sense him. You might be able to save both of you.

Blake didn't feel like he was being driven by sentiment at the time — it had felt much more like desperation to get his message across — but in retrospect, it was the normality of the situation that struck him the most. That made him reach out at all. ]
⁞⁞░░░░▓couldn't sen⁞⁞ him if he was ▓▓⁞░░░░way. I⁞⁞ not sure how I'm s░pposed to change that.
What have y▓░ been doing? Can you sense ░░?

Trying not to get sucked into any of these alternate reality traps. It's not easy. The temptation's there. Ship's trying to get me to remember how much I miss my old mattress.
[Among other things.]
You still moving?

Amazing where the mind will take a person. ]
I░am. My feet are killing m⁞⁞ I haven't ▓▓opped in a couple hours, but I think I'm ▓⁞⁞░ing clos▓▓
[ Close to what? He's not quite sure. ]

All right. Keep me updated ok?
I'll check in in 2 hours if I don't hear from you.
Or if I hear from D.W.

[ He means that, too, though how that favor will manifest itself is hard tell at any given time, particularly now. ]
