[Video] Who Whats Free Stuff?

Hello, fellow residents on the Tranquility. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Leia Organa.

[She's not even bothering to waste any time here.]

I don't have anything majorly important to say, but if anyone here knew Han Solo before he left or is inclined towards engineering projects, I have a lot of his abandoned and half-finished projects in my room. I will be putting them into boxes and leaving them in Media Room on the first floor of the residences. If you're interested in them, they are free to take.

I'm not sure what half of the things are, but I'm more than happy to give them to someone who can actually use them.

[And so they aren't taking up valuable space in her room for...anything else.]

Also, Lúthien, if you want to start those lessons we discussed a few months ago, I'm ready to do so.

There are many politicians aboard this ship. Some work in Communications with me.

This time, I have been aboard the ship for five months now.

and we don't have a formal government set up yet?
(that's a joke)

how you holding up?

I believe it is a form of democracy. Mob rule as it were. And it was set in place by the first captives of this ship, I think.

And, honestly, I've been better, but there is always something to do.

That sounds perfect. [Probably not while shooting. Her focus should probably be on aiming and shooting for awhile.

[ He's pleasant, really! Just easily star-struck at times, and also a little bit cocky at times. It's nothing new, surely, and nothing Leia can't handle, for sure. ]

Yeah I'd noticed I hadn't seen him around the shuttlebay recently but you always hope, right?

I do work a good deal, but I have friends and I spend time with them. Lúthien and I make the flower crowns that are passed out at every jump to newcomers and old hands alike.

[Maybe you hope, but she's given up waiting for him.]

Perhaps, but at some point one must move on and do what has to be done.

[Hence her giving away his things.]

[Pleasant will get him far on this ship. And, no, cocky men are nothing new in Leia's life, truth-be-told.]

I've been here for the last five jumps. This time. How long my stay lasts only time will tell.

[but you never give up on your hero leia!]

Yeah I guess that's true. [stiles was pretty atrocious at moving on though, even if he tended to act otherwise.]

[Her hero has given up on her, Stiles. He'll have to work to get into her good graces, such as they are, again.]

The ship hardly gives us time to think about things that aren't trying to kill us, so there's plenty of opportunity to work through these issues.

[Sort of. There was always time to fret about your personal life, even in the middle of fights for your life, as she well knows.]

Yes, I am one of the people handing them out. I'm glad that you enjoy them. I will pass that along to Lúthien as well, as she grows the flowers.

[Literally. She walks with no shoes on and there are flowers. It's kinda cool to watch.]

How 'bout Solo? You don't happen to know how long he was here, do you?

Ha, yeah, don't I know the feeling. Except I'm still pretty good at avoiding all the "issue" [making the air quotes] stuff when I want to. [which was pretty much always.]

[She conceals the desire to flinch. Really, talking about Han Solo will be something she will just have to get used to. Of course these Earthlings will equate the two of them together if their exploits are a form of entertainment. As it is, she merely gives a slightly pained smile in response.]

From what he managed to tell me, I believe he was here for nearly two years.

[Not that she'll make it easy either. But when has she ever?]

It is human nature to want to avoid situations that make them uncomfortable. [Something she knows all too well.] Sometimes, it's unavoidable.

Yeah but that's when I start cracking jokes. [to pretend like it doesn't bother him.]

[ He's not unsympathetic to loss, that's for sure. ]

Two years, wow. Do— do people normally come back? Or even sometimes come back?

[It's...complicated. Let's leave it at that.]

From what I've been told, this is the third time I've been a...guest on the Tranquility. So, yes, it can be common.

[ Oh. Must be strange. Blake doesn't even think to check for previous versions of himself, though, because that's just so unlikely, right? ]

Guess this just means I've got more homework than I thought.

[ A pause. ]

Hey, uh. Thanks for answerin' my dumb questions. Sorry 'bout the circumstances. If you ever need anything...

[ Well, he's certainly not beyond returning a favor, that's for sure. ]

Not everything can be done away with by joking. More's the pity.

[It could be. Considering there are also people who share the same face from different worlds.]

Honestly, if you want to last here without going insane, just take things as they come. Working to help keep the ship up and running is the best thing that any of us can do.

[She smiles briefly at him. It's nice to see people with manners.]
