Hello, fellow residents on the Tranquility. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Leia Organa.

[She's not even bothering to waste any time here.]

I don't have anything majorly important to say, but if anyone here knew Han Solo before he left or is inclined towards engineering projects, I have a lot of his abandoned and half-finished projects in my room. I will be putting them into boxes and leaving them in Media Room on the first floor of the residences. If you're interested in them, they are free to take.

I'm not sure what half of the things are, but I'm more than happy to give them to someone who can actually use them.

[And so they aren't taking up valuable space in her room for...anything else.]

Also, Lúthien, if you want to start those lessons we discussed a few months ago, I'm ready to do so.

Yes, I have approximately five boxes worth of things that I have no clue what they were for or what they do. Are you interested?

Excellent. One of gifts that Han left behind was an extra blaster, so once you're proficient with it enough, I will feel comfortable with letting you keep it. How does tomorrow morning at the Gunnery sound to you?

I promise you, I am a good student. I have already surprised Artanis with learning another language already and it has barely been a year since I started learning. [Mostly learned.]

[ John's been looking for a challenge and unraveling someone else's work sounds like it could do the trick without entirely overwhelming him. Although, to be fair, it's serving as half an excuse, too, because he's actually been hoping to say hello to Leia. ]

There is more than one but the one on the first floor is located across from the bar.

Wash— [ The name sounds familiar — a friend of River's he thinks — but he parrots it back unquestioningly; he doubts he'll have trouble seeking the guy out, especially if flight crew's actively recruiting. ]

Do you—? [ Blake pauses, scratches at his eyebrow. ] Is there anything I oughta keep an eye out for? You know, clothes or supplies or whatever? —things you might be lookin' for, I mean. Dunno 'bout the barter system on this ship, but I'm definitely hopin' to make some connections. Prob'ly trade my mattress for a coupla decent shirts at this point...

[ Okay, so it's not the smoothest approach and he almost makes it sound shady, but honestly he doesn't think she's the type of person to care all that much. ]

Yeah I guess that's true. [stiles was pretty atrocious at moving on though, even if he tended to act otherwise.]
