On behalf of SEC; If you've been contacted by an unknown source, especially one that may or may not be a violent and potentially sadistic AI, don't follow it into the corridors. No matter what it promises, it should go without saying that it's very dangerous to follow a potential terrorist's orders, especially if it's leading you into unmapped parts of the ship. Anyone who's had contact with suspicious broadcasts should speak with COMM or SEC so that we can piece the stories together.

... Another thing. For those who might've known Javik, who was here a few months ago and was killed at the start of the 33rd jump; did he ever mention anything about something called a "beacon?" Or, did he leave behind any personal possessions? Thanks in advance.

They're usually pretty big; I guess they could be comparable with streetlights in height, at least. They can be hard to detect if they're not out in the open.

It's... hard to explain. Maybe glowing green, emitting energy waves?

Seems like it'd be hard to miss. There's a lot of dark corners to be had on this ship, but not sure if any of them are big enough to hide somethin' that size.

It's hard to say when we don't have a clear idea of the perimeter. Either way, if he'd had one on the ship, I... well, I'd hoped he'd make it obvious.

Just thinking. ... Wasn't here before he died, but if he'd left a beacon behind, it might've had some clues as to what happened, or what he was getting into before it happened.

Sounds like the kind of thing you'd want people to know about, wouldn't you?

Not necessarily. Not many could use it, and he... wasn't exactly a public guy.

[ Not that she blamed him for the latter. Or for not making it known if he did, in fact, have possession of a beacon; in the wrong hands, it might've been bad, depending on what was stored there... ]

Thanks; it's good to have an extra pair of eyes. This ship's pretty big and we haven't seen most of it, from what I've heard.

Thanks. Probably too big for a locker but I'll see what I can find. Big, usually. Sort of like a monument. Sometimes giving off light or energy.

Apparently. I've seen a few things on the network and I've heard about a few incidences. People're going missing in the ship and that's aside from the number we've had in comas since the last jump.
