1st Gear - Video;

This is a request that if any other members of the Normandy crew have shown up here, they let me know. I'd like to know how many of us there are to work with.

[Not that she's the leading type, but it -- seems like it's going to be necessary, at least until Shepard shows up. She just has to have faith that Shepard will show up.]

[She clears her throat. She should probably say something to the rest of the people here, too.]

If any of you missed it, some of the remaining members of this ship's crew are answering questions here.

[Not that it's very informative. Still.]

Ah, I didn't mean to pry. [ Oxford offers her a pleasant smile. ] This ship has made me realise how terribly dull my own world is, and thus has made me entirely too nosy.

I'll let you know what I find.

I've been thinking. Did you get your Omni-Tool through, with you?

Really? [ Tapping his fingers thoughtfully. ] Find out what you can. I've been asking about the ship's defense systems, that's where I'll be most useful, if they need the help.

I'm just trying to figure out a way for us to track the signal on these communicators on our own.

I trust your judgement. If you think it'd help, go ahead, but I'd still be careful about keeping them at arm's length.

[ He's cool with Kasumi. Kind of. Shepard trusts her, that's good enough for him, not to mention they did just kind of all go through hell together and get out, that does wonders for bonding. ]

She told me she's willing to stay out of the way, but with her skills, she'd be better at exploring the ship than anyone else.

And she managed to keep out of trouble well enough, with Shepard.

[ THOUGH SHEPARD ISN'T AROUND NOW :( So he does sound a little uncertain. ]

It looks like a tough group, actually. If I was a mysterious force abducting people for unknown but nefarious purposes, I'm not sure this is who I'd pick. Seems like more trouble than it would be worth.

Unless I was trying to build some sort of army, I guess.

Or so we're to assume.

[She clearly has never heard of the species, but it doesn't bother her]

I'm afraid I have not. Do your people use names?

These ships become important enough that you name yourselves for them. Seems like a waste of energy to call something like that home.

Then you are not so different from a number of those here, but I'm doubtful they are so quick to call a place home.

Depends on how long your people live I suppose. For some a few hundred cycles are simply a blink of the eye.

So, you're humanoid beneath that armor. May I ask the reason behind it?

[Yes she's noticed that respiration device and sincerely hopes this woman hasn't brought along some disease]

Then your technology must be very advanced to allow you even a human length lifespan.

[Rude is her middle name]

I'm to assume the pods have no adverse affect on your system then. Is this ship air so dangerous?

[She's wondering if the woman has something more to hide.]
