This is a request that if any other members of the Normandy crew have shown up here, they let me know. I'd like to know how many of us there are to work with.

[Not that she's the leading type, but it -- seems like it's going to be necessary, at least until Shepard shows up. She just has to have faith that Shepard will show up.]

[She clears her throat. She should probably say something to the rest of the people here, too.]

If any of you missed it, some of the remaining members of this ship's crew are answering questions here.

You're right. It might get us access to some of the restricted parts of the ship if you did. If anything fishy's going on around here, there has to be some sign of it somewhere.

I'm sure you can do some investigating of your own, too.

Oh, I plan to. Thankfully, I still have my omni-tool, so I should be able to sneak around unnoticed, get into things I shouldn't be getting into. You know, the usual.

I've still got mine too -- along with a Carniflex pistol.

[You know, just in case.]

It's nice that they were thoughtful enough to arm us after they abducted us. Whoever "they" are.

It worries me, actually. If we need to be armed on a nearly-empty ship...

...Then what kind of things should we be worried about shooting? I hope the guns are just a fluke and not something we'll need to use. There are people here who have probably never even seen a gun in real life.

I wish I could believe that. After everything that's happened in the past few years, though, I -- can't.

[S-sob no Fleet-related naivety for her.]

I'm sure you saw that Garrus is here as well. At the very least, we'll be -- well-equipped for a fight. You're right, though -- not everyone will be.

He won't tell us much about the previous crew, either.

[ silence . . . ]

We'll just have to be ready.

While the ship potentially watches everything we do, of course.

[More than likely including this post. Hnngh.]

Not exactly a comforting thought.

No hints of any indoctrination or anything Reaper-like, though. So far.

We need to be ready, but we can't jump to conclusions, either. [ A pause because this is so grim he doesn't want to have been kidnapped on board a Reaper :( ] You think we could find the engineering bay, try and figure things out?

You know I never say no to sneaking a peek at a new engine.

[Possibly an entirely new one. Depressing Reaper thoughts aside, that's kind of -- exciting.]

That's probably our best bet.

I don't trust the crew, but everyone else who's turned up here seems as lost as we are.

Some of them are just kids. It might be beneficial to get some outside insight.

Take care of the civilians, see who could be useful. There's all sorts on board, maybe with a bit of organization, we just might get somewhere.

There seem to be some plans for that in the works. That's a good sign, people wanting to cooperate.

Still have to be careful.

[ and he kind of doesn't like taking orders from people who aren't Shepard :| ]

I'm going to have a quick look around the ship, see what I can find. Maybe I can get something organized, myself, have people exploring and sharing information. We'll map this place out yet.

But we should meet up. [ A pause. ] Kasumi, too.

I think that's a good idea. Did your equipment make it here?

[She pauses. Not all of her weapons did, one assumes because they won't fit in the locker.]

Not all of mine did. Where did you want to meet?

[ Oh my. ]

That's rather an interesting... [ Hm. ] Well, my first choice in words was "getup", which on second thought seems a touch rude, though I can't quite think of what an alternative would be.

[ Inwardly, Kasumi sympathizes. It had been a tough few years for everyone in the crew, and it didn't seem like it was going to get easier suddenly. ]

It wouldn't be the first time we had civilians to protect. I am glad you and Garrus are here. Whatever's coming, I wouldn't want to have to take it on on my own.

My armor, a pistol. Not the AR or the my rifle.

[ CAN YOU HEAR UNHAPPY HE IS ABOUT THIS he loves his rifle :( At least he has his scope. ]

It's interesting that we have anything at all. Worrying, but also interesting.

Back with the lockers is the best option for now, isn't it? Until we can find somewhere else.

[She nods shortly.]

Nothing that doesn't fit in the locker, just like mine. I think that's as good a place as any to go.

Her lack of amusement is only slightly obvious.]

Right. We'll -- be prepared. I'm sure there are others used to protecting civilians too, from the looks of the network.

Enviro-suit, I see. [ Well, not really, but he's still rather painfully curious. At least it means that he will do his best to be a reasonable individual and not try being antagonistic. ] From that name, I take it this environment is not entirely suitable for you?
