♕ 8th - video - sweet dreams
( several months ago, elizabeth accidentally over-shared in the form of broadcasting a very personal tragedy across the network. since then, she has quietly been practicing to hone this 'gift'; to benefit those upon the ship rather than simply herself. and today, there is proof that her efforts have found some level of success.
she is pale, her eyes wide and unfocused while the images play out before her mind. from them, she can parse that what she sees is taking place somewhere within the ship. where, she has no idea, exactly. a confined space is all she can make out. that is not what alarms her, however. there are—are they animals, or people—tearing each other apart.
"i should never have trusted you!" comes through, among other insults and hurtful things the individuals snarl at each other as they battle. she has seen blood and battle and death, and yet nothing approaches this level of savagery. the sight of it alone is enough to cause her eyes to widen further, and for her to clench her fists at her sides. in a moment or two, the vision passes and she seems to regain lucidity; but not her composure.
elizabeth is visibly shaken by this point, and her eyes are suspiciously bright. with tears, anxiety, or fear? one may guess any of them and be correct. )
Anyone who is affiliated with Security, I beg of you, please aid these people! There are a great many of them and they are ripping one-another to pieces.
( quite literally, if her expression of horror is any indication. her voice pitches higher, as her alarm grows. )
I know not where they are, but they are confined together and can neither flee nor leave their location. Should nothing be done, they will die horribly. I have seen it.
( and what she sees always happens unless it is caught beforehand. but that is the tricky part, because: )
Whether or not this has already come to pass is unknown to me. In case it has not, their lives may yet be saved. It is certainly worth the effort to try.
Those of you whom cannot defend yourselves, please remain hidden until this passes. Should we be fortunate, it will be soon.
