Does anyone know of a way to get paint on one of the ceilings of a gym here? Or a really high wall at least?

Other then a really tall ladder? Unless you have one, or know where I can find one. Then that works too.

[Aka: someone has conversion gel and really wants to try her portal guns out with some jumping.]

Device that creates a linked portal if you shoot it on two surfaces. Only there aren't many surfaces you can use it on. It was in testing before I got here.

I can give you a demonstration of it once we get some spots painted. Can't explain the science behind it though. I just know how to use it.

A demonstration would suffice.
Have none of our Engineers, past or present, ever thought to examine it —
or did they merely fail to fathom its design?

especially if yours is the only one aboard.
Like as not, an inexperienced hand would make a mess of it.
