[It's not cholera, he knows that much. Gavroche isn't sure what to do about being sick. Seeing doctors and getting medicine wasn't for people like him, it doens't even cross his mind that he could now.
He has one blanket wrapped around himself, but even in clothes without holes, he's still cold. And he's lost weight that he really can't afford to lose.]
Does anybody have an extra blanket I could use for a while?
[So cold]
This is spreading fast, even with all this empty space. Pardi, if it gets much worse we're all in trouble. If... people start dying with so many already sick.

It does make sense that Gavroche, being younger, and not having been here so long would have a harder time of it, but he can't help but find that a little unfair just now, anyway. As it is, he's frowning, furrowing a brow at Gavroche on screen.]
There are plenty of blankets in my room, Gavroche, and I think it would be a good idea if you came to stay here for a while. Would that be all right? I would like to see if I can find something to help you. I promise no leeches, either.
[Well, unless Gavroche wants to watch the leeches or something. Combeferre always kind of liked that sort of thing as a child. But then, Combeferre was almost as odd then a s he is now, so that isn't much surprise. At any rate.]
I'd certainly be glad to come and get you. After what the halls did to us last month, it seems like a better idea than someone new running around, even though you knew Paris best.
[And then Combeferre is sneezing, and making a little face.]
At least I cannot make you sicker.

[Zero desire for leeches]
I think everyone has this by now. I think I... might need help getting to your room.
[He would never admit it in Paris.]

[Gavroche agreeing to this arrangement is actually rather worrying for Combeferre. It means that something is more seriously wrong, and then, when there is the last admission, well, it's not so good at all. That said, he is already getting to his feet.]
It does rather seem that way. I can be there in a few minutes to help.
no subject
[Totally the reason he's doing it. The only reason.]
no subject
[Well, it is A reason, anyway. That is something in and of itself.]
I shall be right there.

The door's unlocked.

[Hopefully Combeferre can keep them from worrying over each other. But, as things are, he's nodding and then getting up to head to Gavroche's door.]

There will be soup in it.
no subject
[Soup is warm and maybe warm inside might actually help. And the thought of having someone actually take care of him... he would never have believed it, in Paris. No one took care of children on the street, except sometimes other children.]

[He would have been quite fine on the floor, really. He's slept in worst places]
Is anyone onboard well at all?
no subject
[Bed. There is a bed. Eponine is small enough that she shares with Combeferre. Such sin.
Take the bed and blankets. And soup.]
Not that I have seen. But I have kept to myself.
no subject
[He likes having family, he really does.
And maybe he just really wants someone to take care of him.]
That's what we're supposed to do. So it doesn't spread.

video;
[ my brother. ]
I can share a couple of blankets. Where'd you want me to bring them? Also, have you been to Medical, yet?
video;
[Actually going didn't occur to him. Doctors are for people with money.]
video; I fail, sorry! MMm can drop this, if you want.
Yeah, but if you go to medical, they'll give you something for feeling bad. Though I guess you could ask Combeferre, too. He'll tell you.

[Some things take more getting used to than others]
Some things are hard to get used to.
video
Yeah, some things kinda are. But at least there are good things to get used to, along with the bad? Like the shuttles. And getting help. Right?
video
[He would probably have just died. That happened to a lot of boys like him.]

Yeah, I've been sicker before. This isn't pleasant but we'll be fine.
