Like a shadow cast across the land, you would say? But why the Queen? Was she not protecting the people, or rather was she the instrument of Darkness?

I do not know which I have seen more, my Lord. For many years I thought nothing would ever clear the engulfing darkness. But there was good still, and while there is good there is cause to fight and to hope. And perhaps it is darkness that I have seen most, and it is darkness that spreads wider across the lands, but one single beacon of light may destroy many shadows, while one shadow can only occupy that one space which it is allowed.
