I'm not sure who thought putting me on a spaceship was a good idea. A remarkably large and by all means physically impossible spaceship, but that's beside the point.

[ The man in front of the camera doesn't seem like much at first glance. He has dark, curly hair that's making its way to gray, wears a well-worn tweet jacket over a button-down, and has a pair of glasses with scratches and bumps on its side. Most people would take him for an average, possibly even homeless, man. Most people would be wrong.

He takes off his glasses and cleans them, taking a moment to look at his surroundings. ] Every inch of this ship must be completely air-locked. [ He muses aloud more than he speaks directly to the camera, and although his brows are furrowed, but for a brief moment, there's also something akin to interest in his eyes as he looks.

He puts back on his glasses and crosses his arms, looking back into the camera. The curiosity is gone, his expression closed off again. ] Here are the important questions: who brought me here? Why?

[ He looks down, and when he looks up again, there's a glimmer of excitement shining through his walls. ] ...and is there a laboratory on this ship?

[ Peter isn't sure if this is the same Dr.Banner from his Earth or not; he only got a couple of quick looks at the guy between periods of green on his last foray on the planet. ]

Couldn't tell you who snatched us. Still trying to figure that one out myself. [ He hesitates a bit, before switching over to a private conversation. ]

You're worried about the other form you've got. [ Statement, not a question. ]

[ Bruce isn't exactly surprised that strangers know about the other guy, and frankly he appreciates it when people don't tip-toe around the subject. Gets things done quicker, and it's less insulting. ]

That's ominous. [ He says with a wry grin. ] Not so much worried as in baffled as to why anyone would think bringing a big green bomb into space would end well. [ Bruce isn't exactly one for tact, either. ]

It can actually be kind of useful if applied properly. [ Peter grinned a little as he wondered if he should press the other topic. ]

So, doc. Got any ideas on time travel and parallel universes?

Vaguely. I tend to leave astrophysics to the experts.

To be honest, I probably wouldn't believe such things were possible a few years ago. [ And then he survived gamma radiation and aliens attacked earth. ] Are you saying this ship is its own pocket universe?

Not exactly impossible, but I'm more just wondering if you'd believe that I've met and worked with you before.

The green you, to be specific.

There are labs, but last I heard the xenobiology and genetics department is focusing on dark magic rather than the actual applied science. But the labs are there.

Good to know. Thanks. [ He jots something down on his notepad. ] Well, messing with xenobiology is just asking for an outcome in dark magic, isn't it? [ It takes a lot to shock this guy, especially once he's already in space. ]

[damian nods slowly, maybe taking bruce a bit more seriously.]

Sometimes. Other times it really does just come down to science. It seems like dark magic is a more immediate concern for everyone on board though.

Trust me kid, I know that science has plenty of its own evils. [ Walking big green cautionary Hulk, here. ]

More magic then science around here, then? [ And he says magic very loosely. ]

[drolly] There's plenty of science.

[he gestures around as if to say: spaceship] But the threats seem to mostly be of the magic variety, so that's what everyone focuses on.

There's a lab. It's the one answer you'll find out.

As mysterious as always, Agent Hill. [ He remembers you. A fidgets a bit, because yeah, sorry for putting your people in danger. And those few holes. But to be fair, Fury dragged him along first. ]

The only answer because there are no others, or because SHIELD has their own collection up here in space? [ Guilty or not, he will remain skeptical of any and all government agencies. ]

[ To be fair if they were expecting everything to go smoothly then they were the idiots. That part is still up in the air a little ]

There's a large SHIELD presence- [ A lot larger than she would like, certainly ] -but the lack of answers come from the ship. There's supposedly only one member of the original crew here, and they're not easy to get hold of.

[ She might not have tried yet, though. She's looking for answers in other locations, trying to find as much information and fact as possible before going that route. She wants to know things before talking ]

More people are brought every month, sometimes people are lost. The ship isn't running so smoothly.

[ Not with the giant holes in it, which could be because of the jumps. There's another unclear thing ]

The fact that a ship of seemingly this size and girth is actually operating in space at all, frankly, is baffling to me. I'm not surprised there's some damaged. [ Bruce doesn't really want to find out if he could survive without oxygen, however. Mercifully one experiment Ross and his men couldn't test on him. ]

Kinda hard to see an endgoal on here, isn't it? [ Why would this ship want crewmembers in the first place, if it was already failing? ]

If there's supposed to be one. We don't know how old the damage is but it's more than just a hole into space.

( Singularities. Space events. Whatever the actual scientific term for them was. But jumps ripping the ship fit for now )

There's a lot that makes getting information hard. Ship access, crew, this. There have been people that have been here for years but they know little more.

( Endgame? Find what you could, don't die... get out? )

My name is Professor Charles Xavier, and yes, we have laboratories. That is, I'm afraid, the only definitive answer I can give you.

[ There's a shift, a restless turn on a wheely chair. ]

Are you a learned man, or can we of the science department lend you assistance?

That seems to be the general conscientious.

[ The name rings somewhat of a bell, though he can't really place where he heard it. Spending time in SHIELD's facility probably had something to do with it. ]

I'm Doctor Banner, a physicist. Though I'm interested in a lab for more biological reasons.

We do have a medical wing, dependent on what you mean by biological reasons. Otherwise, I head the division classed as xenobiology and genetics, the latter being my particular avocation.

[ And he has been reviewing some replies, of course, reading between the lines made both explicit and not. Unsure, exactly, how delicate he should be. ]

Were you looking only for directions, or professional assistance?

[ He did, after all, ask for a laboratory -- not a scientist. ]

Not exactly looking for another doctor. [ He'd heard of Professor Xavier through the encrypted government grapevine in his time, but it only creates a very vague image of the man. He knows he has something to do with mutants, but that's about it.

Even if the man is used to biological abnormalities, Bruce isn't exactly ready to be an open book yet. ] Xenobiology doesn't seem like exactly what I need, but as long as they have equipment that can test molecular structures of my DNA, it's all I really need.

[ If Banner isn't prepared to be an open book, it's a little unfortunate he posted to the public network, isn't it? Charles' forehead creases at this explanation, before his smile turns up a little rueful, good humoured. ]

On the contrary, unless you feel as though this ship and its workings are native to your universe, you are in fact an alien life form. As we all are.

[ He sits back, moved to explain. ]

Not a one of us in our department are specialised in analysing extraterrestrial life forms. We've appropriated the department for our own purposes, which generally involves researching ship-related phenomena, but also assisting fellow passengers. Among us, we have werewolves, mutants, witches, vampires, and anyone in between who want to take a scientific approach in realising who they are, what they can do, and the limits this place has placed on them.

But that's neither here nor there. I'll attach the directions to the science department, although you'll find some areas off limits as long as you're not a part of it officially.

[ This message comes with a text file, describing the department's location. ]

[ That's quite a speech. Bruce almost says so except he receives the directions on his coordinator and puts his glasses on to read them.

The world got much bigger when New York happened. He can't imagine life in space would be any smaller. Part of him wants to know, to understand how monsters and aliens can exist, the part of him that loves curiosity and solving puzzles and helping people. A bigger part of him just doesn't want anyone else to get a hold of his DNA. There can't be any more deaths because of him, no mo butchered attempts to recreate or tame the Hulk, even in space. There just can't. ]

Thanks. [ He takes off his glasses and looks back to the screen. ] I'll probably stop by sometime soon.

Well, that's less the Jump drive and more the lubrication system, but the pod you came from, yes.

[The abject look of shock and happiness on Pepper's face is palpable. How did she not see him at the jump? It doesn't matter because it's Bruce and he's here and she's just so happy to see him - even if it is here.]

Bruce! Where are you right now?

[Because she's coming to get you. Right now.]

[ Well, finally a surprise that doesn't seem horrible. He gives her image a small smile through the communicator, grateful for a friendly face. He usually is, whether on Earth or in space. ]

Hey, Pepper. I'm in my cabin - uh, floor 32, room 188?

Then I'm on my way. I'll even give you a tour if you'd like.

[Tony didn't get a tour, but that was for reasons]

This place doesn't exactly look like Malibu. Not so many poster-sites to see here. [ Joking, but also sort of not. In that way he has.

Finding out Tony's here as well is also some more good news. ] And he hasn't blown more holes in this ship yet?

[She can't help laughing as she moves toward his room.]

And they have a fantastic holodeck though.

Damn, Pepper. You sound like you're trying to get me to stay at Stark Tower. [ A holodeck sound intriguing, but it's a small light in the fact that they are currently stuck in space. ]

[ Once hears a knock on the metalic door, he knows it's her. He swings it open and smiles, happy to have a friendly and familiar face. ] Hey, Pepper.

[She shuts off the video as soon as he opens the door, but still keeps in mind his last comment. She'll get to that later.]

It's good to see you Bruce.

[She offers him a tight hug. It really is such a good thing to see him here.]

[ ward almost didn't reply to the post — no real incentive to, hill already did which would make it superfluous in the usual chain of command — but in the end, he clicks the video on regardless. ]

No one has any real answers to those questions.

[ Bruce doesn't recognize the man in the video, but there are plenty of tells that he's another agent from SHIELD. From the way they hold themselves to the way they talk to you, Bruce has gotten good at recognizing agents from civilians. ]

I seem to be getting that, yes. [ He takes of his glasses for a moment. ] Not even for the lab question?

There's a lab.

[ short, to the point, and not entirely helpful. aren't you ever so glad, bruce? ]

Ah. Yes, that seems to be what everyone is telling me. And that's about it.

It is accessible to the public?

Not sure how secure it is, but yes.

Completely air locked. You don't want to see what happens if it weren't.

Rest of the questions aren't so simple. Except the science folk have labs somewhere.

I can get a general idea. Why, has it happened before?

[ He crosses his arms and smirks a tad. ] No such thing as straight answers in this world. I figured that out a while ago, though.

I don't think that they necessarily screen "applicants" for suitability for space travel. Unfortunately, I don't think they seem to care whether or not we can survive in space or not.

I haven't been pointed to anyone in charge yet. Is it some sort of automated system or AI that controls the ship?
