I've got some weed that needs growing: it's special, you might even call it magical, and it takes a delicate hand to grow.

You'd think growing up on a vineyard, I would've learn how to grow something— but then again, that's why we hired help.

And that's why I'm looking for an elf.

You guys have that Disney princess thing going on, right? Best friends with animals, flowers, bugs, other tiny, pathetic creatures. Think one of you can sing my weed to grow?

A fairy might work too.

You are not the first I've encountered to have such an ability.

In my current state, I can do little in regard to that. But perhaps I could do something.

You won't explode. It's a simple matter of putting you to sleep with the absence of dreams if you wish it. Nothing more.

but hat if i'm running on a 50hz frequency, and you're running on 60hz? plug a American dryer into a European wall socket, and that thing will spark.

what I'm trying to say, your shiny angel powers aside, is that we're from different universes. maybe we're made differently, existentially, physically. i mean, you guys actually get a god. and if that's the case, what if whatever-- however you're made, isn't compatible with us. and i explode.

It's the passive aggressive ones you have to look out for. The quieter they are, the harder to judge when they're about to explode.

This is where I'd say, "so are we talking about an actual princess or a boyfriend?," but I already used that one on the angel.

Why would you wish to grow a weed?

It's not just a weed. It's medicine, hence why it needs a special touch.

If you are not well, you would be best served by speaking with a Healer.

If I were talking about a flesh and blood wound, yeah, a doctor would be perfect. But when it comes to medicine and the mind, I might as well just take a scalpel to my brain.

It'd be just as effective.

How does a weed help with an ailment of the mind? [Really, you're so weird. Elves are so much easier to deal with. Dwarves too.]

Marijuana's a more precise term. [ He pauses to think. ] It helps you calm down. Opens up the mind to new possibilities. You guys don't have any herbs like that?

I have never heard of it. Though I have never used them in my healing.

Different worlds, different plants.

So are you elves actually good at growing plants? Communing with nature, that sort of thing?

Some are. Some excel in the growing of plants and flowers, others in song and others still as Healers. As with any race, I would imagine.
