[Arthur is composed when his image appears, stoic without being stiff or unnatural in the way he sits. To those who know him, would know there is rather more to the young Pendragon's gaze in the moments it drifts from the camera. At least he seems to have the positioning of his camera to a technique now, it's propped so the viewer may see him seated. No more are the accidentally strange angles revealing little else than his nostrils.]

I seek to inform the ship that Guinevere was nowhere to be found after the jump, nor have I been able to contact her since. From what I am told, people may be taken from this vessel as unpredictably as they arrive, and I see this notice is not the first of it's kind.

[He takes the moment for a breath, and there is a certain ease about him, even if it is a mask and he speaks with a fondness, neither cold nor detached from that matter. A leader must be capable of separating their own feelings from what they seek to project to others; rallying bravery when they feel fear. Encouraging hope, or strength when they have little of their own. He would not make such a public broadcast, where he incapable of such.]

Guinevere, I know had many good friends aboard the Tranquillity. She was here for some time and I do not wish to miss informing those who ought to know. Though I've no doubt her kind spirit and generosity will be missed here, Camelot is her home.

Though I imagine Guinevere would deny favoritism, I think she loved you best Lucrezia. She spoke so fondly of you. I know she looked forward to attending your wedding.

I know it is not the desire of all to return to their homes. But, I feel as though there seems few places more dangerous than this ship.

Well some have a place to go home to that is safe. Or they are alive.

That...that always helps things.

[As of note, Fili no longer has his braids. He's chopped them off.]

I suppose safety can never be guaranteed. [Camelot certain is never assured of it, but at least forces unknown cannot draw her from the castle and directly into danger, as seems the ability of this ship.]

But I still think our world safer than this. Perhaps one reason among many to suffer perpetual homesickness. That and to be robbed of one's duty.

I take it you've no such readiness to return to your home? [It's not quite curiosity, there's a consolatory tone. After all, Arthur can only assume one of the two unpleasant options mentioned should await Fili's return.]

No, it can not.

[The world is ahead, for some. For others, like him, like his brother, there is only quiet halls.]

I have such duty, as a King.

But...I return only to death. I have seen the end of my days. But I know that I did it, protecting those I loved best.

It is all a man can hope for.

[Arthur offers a slow nod, there is a measure of respect about him now, to such words.] It is. To know one has given everything to the safety of those most precious to them.

Even so, no one wishes for death before their time. [However noble or just the cause. Had the same come of him, perhaps he would wish to be here?]

It is one reason to be thankful of this place? [Perhaps? Arthur wonders his feelings on the matter. Because Arthur certain sees no good to it.] Do you have many others from your world here Fili?

No one wishes for it; but acceptance has to be had.

[He shakes his head.]

Not that I am saying that I accept it well. I struggle. I do not think there will be a day that I don't.

And yes, there are those from my world, here. Though none that I was friends with before arriving. My...my brother has recently returned to death, as well. So there are none of my kin left. But I am happy for the friends made.

I can only imagine. [Thankfully so. His brows crease lightly.] I doubt I should do any better. One has never had to consider how they might come to terms with their own death before, have they?

I'm sorry about your brother Fili [His words are genuine and offered solemnly as he glances downward, even if Arthur feels he has not quite suffered as badly, at least he knows the world Guinevere returns to, and she is well.]

As am I. Such settings seem to encourage camaraderie.

I am happy that he returns to be with our Uncle, in the Halls of our Fathers. I am only sad that I am not with him now, though it would mean I returned to death as well.

[It's complicated; but at least he no longer has a death wish.]

It does; strife brings people together, or tears them apart--I am happy to find that it is the former, here.

[She looks sympathetic, at least after adjusting the video to make sure it's broadcasting.]

I am sorry to hear she has gone, I am sure you will miss her. It is a small consolation that the ones we loved are better off, and needed, back home, to us who remain here.

It is true. To wish her here would be little more than a selfish act. Though a kingdom is rarely certain to be safe, there's no doubt the Tranquillity always keeps us at a disadvantage. [It draws them to dangers no one can be kept from, and nothing can be predicted.]

If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to let me know. [She's noticed, she's given that same kind of smile all too often.]

It may be selfish but it still out of love nonetheless, it is still alright to always miss them. [At least, that's what Elizabeth tries to tell herself when she misses Edward and her children.]

Of course. Your company is always a pleasure, I thank you once more. [Because really, he cannot say it enough to assure how grateful he is that he is not alone as such.]

Then I shall continue missing her, yet hope she does not return. [There's a somewhat mirthless humour to him now. What a strange emotion to wrought by, but he feels she might understand it.]

Would you like to come by the garden for a walk? Perhaps that may help. [Elizabeth offered quietly. She can understand that strange emotion, she's felt it each jump when she looks frantically for Edward, for Cecily, any of her family with her heart in his throat praying to God they have not found themselves here.]

[Too easily Arthur could decline for no other reason than to dwell on matters and doubtlessly sink his mood. Though he quickly thinks the better of it, giving a small nod.]

An excellent suggestion, your company would be a delight as always. [He cannot quite offer his presence complete with good cheer, but appreciation and another smile offers his best. There are matters other than Guinevere he might speak on.] I shall meet you shortly?

[She nods with a smile, she would be glad for the company as well.]

Of course, I will meet you at the entrance of the Gardens if that is alright?

Indeed. [Another quick nod, to be certain] I shall see you shortly.

Wonderful, I will be waiting then.

[ guinevere? then this must be.. oh no. for weeks she has wanted to meet him and been anxious about it, even.

but not like this. never like this. she has lost a friend of her own, but he wasn't her husband. god above, she hopes she'll be able to help somehow. ]

Your Grace. I am.. [ so very sorry. but those words can sound so cheap and hollow. elizabeth bites her lip and continues: ]

You must be Lady Elizabeth? We have yet to meet, but have heard a great deal about you. [His face suggest these all easily good things, honestly. He does offer a smile, as genuine as he might summon at this time.]

He would most happily help them in return.] You mother has told me of England, the lands of Camelot and it's surrounding kingdoms united as one- [Well it's all a little more complex to say the least, but that's the most basic of his understanding, he's curious now. Perhaps too eager for distraction.] -but not that we are tied by family too?

And I do not know if we are truly related, but my family has always claimed it, in any case. I would like to think of it in such a manner, if you do not mind.

[ her smiles falters. ] For I too have lost loved ones.

You honour me with such words. [He must insist kindly as if it is near too much, and there is a smile, to be told his rule is one spoken of well.] And to think it would not be so without Guinevere, a good thought for a time such as this. [To him at least, added to the fact he has not heard of other less favourable aspects of said legend.]

From what your mother has told me, I know the reign of your family will too be long, well remembered. [Once more his tone, his gaze offer a clear respect, of truth. However his posture softens some, as do his eyes.]

I am sorry my lady. [Genuine, from what he has been told. His father's death still raw, with a gentle breath he moves on.] You honour me once again- [A nod confirms her words, Arthur's smile a little thoughtful.] We will call one another family here, even in Camelot I am not yet so fortunate as to do so. [A comfort in ways, and it serves his need for purpose.]

Indeed. [ he wouldn't like what the legend says of guinevere. it may not even be true, and so she remains silent on the matter. ] You speak of her as though she is your equal in all things.

That is a rare and wonderful thing, Your Grace. No woman could hope for more. With such confidence, I have no doubt that she is caring for your lands and your people as we speak.

[ long and well-remembered? oh, mother. ]

Some of us were kinder and wiser than others, but she has the right of it. [ for the most part. ]

I.. thank you. [ as is the death of hers. ] There is much honour to go around, it seems. I am gladdened.

[ her smile reappears, its warmth beginning to reach her gaze. ]

Wonderful! What am I to call you, then? Grandfather or anything of the like would seem odd and inappropriate given you cannot be much older than I am.

She will be missed very much indeed, though it heartens me to think of her safe in her own home.

[Arthur offers a dip of his head, even if he has learned the insignificance of titles in this world, the sight of this woman in particular finds him most compelled to address her with a noted respect.]

My lady, thank you. I fear I have not met all whom she was acquainted with, though I am sure of the same. I know many of us would return if given the chance.

[And Galadriel gives a polite little nod in return. Part of what he says, though, makes her realize-]

Forgive me, I have neglected to introduce myself. I am Galadriel, Lady of Lothlórien. I am certain that Guinevere would not have made mention of me; we did not know one another as well as I would have wished. Yet each time we spoke, I was struck by her sweetness and generosity.

[Arthur smiles easily, a welcome distraction.] Lady Galadriel, it is an honour. [It is said without thought, but a truth. Hard though this may be at the very least he is getting to know his fellow passengers better.]

Arthur Pendragon of Camelot, if I am to assume the same. [Why should Guinevere speak of him when she had business matters to attend to?]

It does my heart good know she has left a legacy true to who she is, I thank you for sharing such words.

The honor is mine, I assure you.

[Guinevere hadn't mentioned him and Arthur didn't introduce himself by title, but her tone carries all the respect she would give another member of the nobility; it isn't difficult to tell- his bearing, the way he speaks..]

It is the least I could do. To lose kith or kin from this place is always both a blessing and curse; if I have brought you even the smallest measure of comfort, then I am glad.

[ unhappy news, indeed; and before her wedding too. guinevere were among those with lucrezia's favor, a legendary queen in the form of a sweet girl. it's a loss and they've known too many of those lately. ]

You are good to tell us, Your Majesty. She was dear to me, she was the sweetest soul I have ever met.

[A smile, because she speaks true Guinevere is the sweetest soul one might be so fortunate to meet.]

Then you have known her truly, My apologies in bringing such news so close to what will be a blessed occasion. [But, as she was so eager to attend, he is certain her presence would be missed.]

I am also certain she wished to honour your friendship, and the day with a gift for your marriage. [His demeanor says he means to honour this in turn; but there is something to him, telling of concern. Did he not listen as he should have? Perhaps she mentioned what she intended to present to Lucrezia on her wedding day. Of course, one does wish they had listened with keener ears and said all they mean to when a loved one has left.]

It is none of your fault, your Majesty. I know you favored her as we all did.

[ and perhaps a bit more, seeing as she will one day be his queen. ]

She was always so sweet. I promised her a thousand times that she does not have to gift us with anything. There is so little to offer as it is on this ship.
