[ Here's Heather and an absence of scenery. She looks more annoyed than scared, though her cheeks are a flushed from some experimental running and her hair is kind of sticking up in front where she's been tugging at it in frustration. ]

So I'm lost. Or stuck, or whatever. I've been talking to lady Japan and she's lost too, but we can't see or hear each other.

[There's some jiggling as the view turns to a long stretch of corridor unrelieved in any way by doors. Blank walls move past as Heather walks, holding her communicator out in front of her, and still nothing new comes into view. Her voice is clear (and seriously ticked-off) in the background.]

This is getting pretty old, so if anyone's got any advice that isn't find a lift and get in it, that'd be swell.

[she's not touching his first suggestion. Now that he's said it out loud it seems the most likely option, and if she talks about it she's just going to freak out about it and give them what they want.]

If the tips of her ears are shading pink that is nothing but coincidence, because she has way bigger issues on her mind. And she's only clearing her throat because there's nothing to drink out here.]

[If she said that a little quickly, it's only because a few of the people around here are starting to give her the impression they'd happily lob her out an airlock to see if she'd really freeze and shatter. And though she's not entirely impervious to that smirk, what he gets in return is a raised eyebrow.]

I'm glad you asked. I've been paying careful attention to my surroundings, and everything I see indicates that I'm in an endless corridor have you not been paying attention?

[Though she makes a face at love, it's a fair point. She's just cranky because she has been, and she's come up with nothing.]

I don't really know what to tell you. It's all pretty samey. Not exactly the same, there are differences. I passed some pipes a while back, knocked on 'em just to see what would happen. They sounded pretty normal. No vents or hatches or anything. It's clean, no dust or footprints. The only real signs that someone else has been through here are the ones that have been left on purpose. Mostly it just seems like what should have been a really short stretch that didn't need anything much in it that's gone on for way longer than it should have.

If it wasn't so impossible it'd just be really, really boring.

it's a really good idea and she's totally do it if she thought there any chance she'd actually fall asleep. So she's more amused at that than she'd like to be.]

It's my way of telling you that you look rather tired and annoyed, neither feature good on any lovely young woman like yourself, especially one as pretty as you. [Smiles.]
