The boy has no family, no sense of propriety and, as far as I can tell, no caretaker. Arya has become his substitute in all these things and I feel it necessary to inform you that I don't believe they are a good influence on one another. Gendry has latched onto her, Jon. Perhaps with no ill-intent, but with a complete absence of common-sense.

I know how it is to have a sister form inappropriate ... liaisons. It is best to intervene, and I know you are doing the right thing in confronting him.

I do not begrudge him their friendship, nor do I suggest that they cannot be loyal to one another. But I need to know how far this loyalty will take them, I need to be sure that there is nothing untoward, and I need him to understand that he cannot take their differences so lightly.
