[He hates to think that he's chiming in with news that is most certainly the opposite of such, however, he cannot help but wonder aloud. And so, the network is graced with his presence again. This time, it is very much absent of written word, but he still looks mildly distressed.
Then again, with this heat, everyone seems to be in such a state.]
I do not wish to be quite so repetitive... Ah, as many of you are quite wise and helpful, it only seemed right that I turn to you with yet another question:
I know that we all are suffering this same heat, but I wonder how many of you are coping with it? The pool and ice water aside- those are only a few temporary fixes when the hours of the day are plenty and one's patience for those two solutions is decidedly not... patient that is.
[He pauses, wondering how much of that actually made sense. In the heat he has found it difficult to sleep, among everything else.]

Avoiding alcohol if you are not already should help somewhat. I always seem to feel worse drunk in the heat. As for a real solution...
[Combeferre is shaking his head, then cleaning his spectacles, which are steaming once again.]
If only someone DID have something more revolutionary. If we had a fan of sorts, perhaps, and a large source of ice we could control the temperature a little, couldn't we? An electric fan from here of course, not the kind from home...
It may be worth trying out?
Re: Video:
[And he's trying to follow Combeferre's train of though: From what it sounds? It's a good thought! He smiles slowly.]
It's... worth trying out, yes. I'll be on the look out for something of the sort.
Re: Video:
That sounds agreeable enough. We would need a large quantity but perhaps it can be gathered from the various kitchens and such.
...I doubt that anyone in the kitchens would be pleased to see me but desperate times indeed, yes?
Re: Video:
Re: Video:
There IS that yes.
Alternate plans involve standing in front of the freezer with the door open, perhaps?

Re: Video:
Please do so. I may join you in that case.

Re: Video:
mm too many of us and it WOULD just make the room hotter. If we had a larger amount of ice, it surely could be managed, but...

Re: Video:
As will I.
Surely between us, SOMETHING will occur.

Why of course... Perhaps I should just go a step farther and not be clothed at all? If I'm not to leave my room, that is.
no subject
It was only a suggestion, you might put on a coat if you are to go out-of-doors.
no subject
[Another grin.]
Less clothing, more fans and simply melting into existence. That is my plan for the rest of this heat spell.

And since he is out, for the moment, checking upon something he'd mentioned in a conversation with Michel, he offered what he had at hand;]
I am checking the showers presently, to see if there is any cool water left.
All of the foods that cool the body are either of fruit or seed, and we have not even that option on board.
Have you gotten any better suggestions? I can look into them while I am out.
[Even he's getting a bit fussy in all this damn heat. So the less movement, the better, and since he was already about, better he look into solutions than Reynaud.]

The showers is a good place to check... I'm afraid the only suggestions I've received thus far are to try and find ice, if it has not melted, and fan it at us.... And then to be undressed.
no subject
[Mused... before snorting softly and looking aside. He might have coloured, but the heat assured they all looked rather pink to begin with anyway.]
Undressing seems an obvious choice, but rather uncouth towards visitors. Or if there is some crises, well...
[Better to be facing it wearing trousers, he thinks.]
no subject
[He smiles slowly.]
Undressing was Enjolras' idea... However, he meant down to trousers and a top. I just believe that, if we were not expecting visitors, it would make more sense to be completely without any.

It did not surprise him exactly, but...
A pause, and then a soft roll of the eyes and a hangdog smile.]
Ah, the wolf sheds his sheep's clothing.
If you must than you must, cher, but promise you will lock the door.
no subject
[Please do not give him any ideas. He smiles a little more and licks his lips.]
I will unlock the door only for you-- Or our friends, but I will make certain to wear trousers in that case.
no subject
That's. Very forward, Reynaud.

And yet, you remove your skins.

I will be back shortly, then. I will try not to keep the door open long, I should not like to shock anyone in the hallway.

Regardless, I will see you soon.

You shall.
