He's still wrangling his depression enough that getting punished just seems pretty much on par with being let off easy. He's alive though. she had planned it out while she waited. what she could do. he disappears, then he tries to die, then he avoids her again...

The computers mostly, anything else— I know which things not to touch because then things go boom. I'd need to read up on the rest, but fast learner, I'm not stupid comes into play in times like this.
