[ HOLY DISORIENTATION BATMAN! is a good exclamation for how Nick feels and looks.

Drenched from the liquid from the tube he has just crawled out of, he is popping a couple of pills into his blood-tainted mouth, as if someone had just pulled out one of his teeth (on a closer inspection, he has them all however). Rubbing his hand against his lips to wipe them clean, he swallows the pills and tilts his chin up and down in a sort of 'hello', holding his bag to his chest. He's not dressed in his uniform, he's only wearing socks, boxers and an old t-shirt.

He's a classy dude, can't you tell? ]

Heeey. I have no idea what's going on and I don't remember having any tequila last night, so-- what the fuck is this? I love sci-fi as much as any other guy, but I think I'm tripping out.

[ A brow arching, looking into the screen as she honestly takes what he is saying into consideration. ] Vitamin supplement that makes your mouth red -- interesting. [ She isn't buying it. But she isn't about to keep asking, if it doesn't affect her, what is it to her anyway. ] Whatever. [ She'll just be looking at you suspiciously for a moment though, only to ultimately shake her head, moving on. ]

Never heard of either of those two. Take it that's on your Earth? [ Which has her sounding more disbelieving then anything. Only assuming that would be the case though - as most appear to be from there after all. ] I'd say I was from Caprica, but I have a feeling you have no idea where that even was.

[A raised brow at this.So people still came in after the jump? Interesting. Though this guy looked like he was flipping out.]

Would it help any if someone told you that this was real? Cus it is. You're on a ship in space. [simple as that.]

[ Nah, he probably just overslept. ]

Well, that explains everything. [ He sounds so sincere. ~~No, not really.~~ ] Being stuck in space isn't my definition of being "all right", no.

Space. Or, more specifically, a spaceship called Tranquility. [ Mason eyes the kid's mouth for a moment. ] Did you hit something when you woke up?

[ He figures he could be a dick and hum some appropriate Alanis Morissette song, but instead he just leans back and snorts in dry amusement. ] Fuck. [ He shakes his head and stares at the ceiling. ] Tranquillity. That's just hysterical.

[ And he turns back to the video. ]

I don't think so, but someone might have knocked me out and shoved me on a ship.

[ Just so you know, he doesn't believe he's on a ship. Nope. That's just silly. ]

Look, man, I'm just telling you what I was told. I just got here a couple days ago but figured I'd try to fill you in on some of the blanks.

[ He's still go a lot of blanks left to fill for himself, though. ]

[ He shrugs and then stares at the space outfit given to him, before turning back to the guy on the other side of the video. ]

Do you believe in everything you're told?

No. [ Mason's got some trust issues and some handy dandy skills up his sleeves, though, so that's why. ] But I ran into a friend of mine from home when I woke up here and she filled me in. Not saying you have to believe that, either, but it's why I don't think I'm tripping out.

Just because I'm not tripping it doesn't mean I'm in fucking outer space. [ He lets out a dry laugh, almost like a mocking snort. ] We could all be here thanks to some Government action - you don't know that, do you?

It's a possibility, yeah. [ If, you know, they figured out some way to bring the dead back to life... ] No one I've talked to so far has known who brought us here, anyway, so maybe you're right. I don't really get out the government bringing us here rules out the whole space portion of it, though.

That is, assuming it really is space. I mean, fuck, do we really know we're in outer space and not in some fucked up simulation? I mean, some even figure we didn't even get to the moon in '69. You aren't a bit sceptic of this whole situation?

Not as much as you are, apparently. [ And he's got his reasons. ] Either way, it's probably best to just go along with it for the time being. Get settled, do some exploring. See if we can get some answers for our questions. That kinda stuff.

Ah, yes, the good ol' conformist attitude. [ Clearly, Nick is a ray of sunshine and flowers. Clearly. ] Getting settled doesn't sound like the best idea-- Some of us have shit to do.

[ Mason just looks mildly amused. Or is that irritated? Sometimes it's hard to tell with him. ] Good luck getting back to it.
