Technology fail - video 2

[Eponine appears on the network, obviously a little panicked about something. She had been trying to reach Jehan, but unfortunately, she was not adept enough at technology to filter it to him.]

Monsieur? Monsieur, I have done a bad thing - but we are friends, are we not? You will not listen to the Inspector, will you? We will still be friends, won't we?

[Impatiently, she pushed her messy fringe out of her eyes.]

He is a horrible man, you know. He deserved it, I think. [She shrugged and sighed]

I wish he were gone; life here, even when I bled from my eyes, was pleasant before he came. I do not think it will remain so now.

And I'm not the police. I'm security. My concern is nothing more than to ensure safety and harmony aboard the ship. So if someone is injured, I need to know if it this second so as to help them. And likewise, if you fear future injury, then my concern is to ensure it does not come to you.

Then you might find Monsieur Jsvert in the kitchen near the gardens. He is smelly - he might need a wash, Sir.

[With Mile's reassurances, her cockiness grows until she's practically laughing at Javert covered in soup.]

[Edgeworth, though, doesn't laugh.]

Because everybody can see, Sir. That was not my intention. ButI have trouble to use such a thing too.

It's understandable--this is an unusual means of communication to some people.

[Even where he's from, devices like the communicators seemed to be inevitable, but still several years in the future.]

Communications is on the first floor. I'm here now--take a lift down and find me. I'll try to help you, but fair warning: I'm not a very patient teacher. If I can't help, there will be other people here tomorrow.

It means, Sir, that a man has soup to drip from his nose, and from his forehead, it stains his police uniform. But it is the least he deserves, and I am NOT sorry for acting so. He is not a nice man.

[Whoa! Wait a second here; distress on the ship isn't tolerated!]

[He tries to look out for people, like that. He's been looking out for his friends and father from home, after all.]
