A lot of you come from places that have shit I've never heard of before. Like, uh. Television. I still don't really know what one is, but I think I get the idea. Soooo. I've been thinking a lot about that and wondering if the people who have that sort of stuff might also have other things. Things that are like what's on this ship and bring us here each jump.

Whatever does that. I dunno.

I had brothers and sisters who could do it. Travel that far, go places. But with all this fancy technology or whatever, has anyone ever actually considered trying to use it or find it? Or, uh. Do anything about it?

This ship isn't gonna keep me here forever. I might not know a lot about it, but I plan to do something. Anything. [ The best wrong kind of careless someone could be.
