I never like feeling like I'm repeating myself, but since there's been such a gap in communication since the initial inquiry, redundancy doesn't seem like too much of an issue.

For those of you still interested in participating in training sessions with myself and Agent Carolina, I'd like to let you all know that everything is pretty much in place and ready to go save for a few minor details.

Like a schedule. Everyone can't operate on the same timetable, I'm sure - so knowing when you'll all be available would help make planning classes much easier. And like I said before, anyone is welcome to join in, or come spectate, or .. whatever. Come one, come all, or something like that.

[no, he doesn't think he's funny at all.

pause. and he clears his throat.] Oh, and if you want to specify a certain type of training you're looking for, that'll help, too. [because whoops, that's kind of important. how did he forget that.

but he blinks at the question, pale brows knitting together in slight confusion.] Yeah, she apparently showed up when I did. We've been trying to figure out why we're here, but .. [and he shrugs.] Doesn't seem to be helping anything.

[ None of this makes any sense on Wash's end, either, and for a long moment he just stares at the feed, his expression as blank as the visor covering it. ]

Carolina.

[ Nope, still not processing it-- although oh fuck-- ]

Does she have her A.I.s? Do either of you have them?

[north's own expression is more than just a little confused, and though he doesn't have the luxury of being able to hide behind his visor - since he still hasn't come across his armor, yet - wash can see every little uncertainty that flickers across his face.

AIs? that's .. still a new experiment, isn't it? he's heard a little about it, but -] No, we .. don't. Hold on - is there something I'm missing, here? Nobody has them, Wash.

[squint.]

[ Wash doesn't quite breathe a sigh of relief, but it's a close thing. As much as he hates the fact that no one seems to be as far along as him in the timeline, in their case it's a damn good thing. ]

Nothing. It's-- don't worry about it.

[north is staring pretty intently into his device right about now. like if he squints just a little harder, things will start making sense.

and wash will stop asking weird questions.

[ Wash doesn't really laugh much, and it's hard to even call the sound he makes a laugh at all -- it's too strained and short to really come close. ]

[ Wash doesn't comment on that any further, entirely okay with passing over his issues to focus on the more pressing ones. ]

Good. Maybe now she'll leave me alone. Keep an eye on her, will you?
