[hey look who totally wasn't lost for a week. ahem.]
I never like feeling like I'm repeating myself, but since there's been such a gap in communication since the initial inquiry, redundancy doesn't seem like too much of an issue.
For those of you still interested in participating in training sessions with myself and Agent Carolina, I'd like to let you all know that everything is pretty much in place and ready to go save for a few minor details.
Like a schedule. Everyone can't operate on the same timetable, I'm sure - so knowing when you'll all be available would help make planning classes much easier. And like I said before, anyone is welcome to join in, or come spectate, or .. whatever. Come one, come all, or something like that.
[no, he doesn't think he's funny at all.
pause. and he clears his throat.] Oh, and if you want to specify a certain type of training you're looking for, that'll help, too. [because whoops, that's kind of important. how did he forget that.
more important question: why isn't carolina the head of this plan.]

action; action spam all you like unless you wanna log it out! 8)
he lets the breath he didn't know he was holding out in a solid whoosh when he finally sees that familiar shock of light blond hair, and he smiles.]
Hey, kiddo.
action;
Hey. What... [Words. She doesn't have them right now. She shakes her head, tries again.] How long have you been here?
action;
south, you don't .. you can't understand how happy he is to see you. he pretty much thought he was never going to see you again.
that half-smile just makes his own widen, and he shrugs.] Little over a month, give or take. Showed up the same time as Carolina.
action;
But... how? I've only been here a week. And you weren't just missing for a month!
[Pause...] She's here?
action;
and if he knew the how of everything, he'd know a hell of a lot more than he does.] .. How long was I gone?
[and he tilts his head a bit to the side.] Yeah, she's here. Probably one of the only reasons I haven't lost my mind yet. She's got everything organized. [at least, as much as she can ..]
action;
Of course. Always on top of things. [South's not bitter. Why would you think that? But it's not as biting as it could be (though it's still quite caustic). Carolina is a familiar person after all, and she'll take all the familiarity she can get right now.]
perma-action fuck this;
how is this supposed to make any sense?
north shakes his head, trying to clear it as much as he can, but it doesn't prove to be a very useful action. but he does catch the tone in his sister's voice, and that little bit of normalcy has him thinking that eventually, they're going to figure things out around here.
eventually.] So .. I was in two places at once? [he knows it sounds stupid, and he never makes a point of asking dumb questions when it doesn't seem feasible, but things just aren't adding up here and it feels like his head is going to explode.
so he's just going to sigh and focus on something else.] Y-yeah, just like always.
lol good call ♥
[Her eyes narrow. None of this makes any sense, and honestly, that just makes her angry. She crosses her arms, probably to keep from clenching her fists and/or punching the corridor wall. She doesn't even know where to begin trying to figure everything out, especially if he's been here for a full month. With Carolina. And they still don't have much to go on. apparently.]
But hey. Now we're both here. We'll find some answers.
[A pause.] Wash is here, too. But, something about him...
no subject
or, y'know. just the meaning of what the hell is going on here.
and he knows that look. he knows she's trying to keep herself in check and he has to admit - he's proud of her. because getting pissed off over something they have no control over never helps anything.
he nods.] I .. I've talked to him. He seems a bit off, doesn't he? [okay, so 'off' doesn't begin to cover it - but it's something to go on for now, right?
add that to the list of things they need to figure out. sigh.]
no subject
[And damn, does that make her uneasy. She grits her teeth, aiming a scowl at some non-specific point on the floor.]
What did he say to you?
no subject
[it doesn't exactly sit well with him, either. but how is he supposed to find anything out if wash won't talk?]
no subject
He doesn’t, huh? Right. [She hesitates, uneasy.] I’m gonna keep an eye on him. [After all, she still wants quite a few more answers out of him.]
no subject
unless south had freaked out, and he just doesn't know.
but north pauses to think about this for a second. he hadn't even thought that wash's acting strangely could be accredited to the fact that he was older. but ..
how is being out of the timeline even possible?] I guess we both should .. I don't -
I don't like the sound of this, South. Not a bit.
no subject
She doesn't know what's possible and what isn't anymore. Not here.]
Neither do I. [She steps a bit closer. This is urgent, and she's had it up to here with being confused.] Look. We need to get out of here. I don't care what's going on here, not unless it stands between us and the way back.
