[Bail does his best not to show just how confused he is right now. Even surrounded by strangers, he defaults to habits acquired when those around him looked to him for guidance. But he has questions. It's only natural.]

Is there a library to be found somewhere on this vast vessel? I wish to learn of the space we are travelling through. More importantly, of the people on the worlds we might come to.

[A pause while he further considers the situation]

Failing that, would anyone here be able to explain the local political and cultural climate?

[well, he may not know bail on any kind of a personal level yet, but that doesn't mean he's an unfamiliar face. he still remembers sitting behind palpatine as he settled the debate between organa and divinian (all two minutes it took), frustrated by the chancellor's decision, right up until he explained his reasoning later. remembers, however unwanted, all that followed soon after.]

Senator Organa. [alright, so sharing information is something obi-wan (and yes, even quinlan) are better suited to. but bail's from their galaxy, which means he can't just ignore his presence here.] There is very little information available regarding our location. We are in an area of space that nobody here seems to be familiar with.

[Years in politics have left Bail very able to control his facial expression. But there are limits. And seeing Anakin so alive and... uncrispy? There's no hiding that shock. There's a moment before he can speak. Seeing Obi-Wan so young did not prepare him for that.]

Skywalker. I... did not expect to find you here.

[bail's reaction is noted with a hint of concern. but he doesn't press it. instead, it's far easier to write it off as a simple surprise at seeing a familiar face aboard the tranquility already. and considering his conversation with obi-wan already, it's clear that timelines may be a possible issue again.]

The feeling is a mutual one. Or rather, I had hoped that nobody else from our galaxy would be brought here.

There are five of us in total now, plus two droids.

Yourself, Kenobi and Vos. Who is the other?

[Droids are... somewhat less likely to be awkward. He hopes.]

A man named Han Solo. He comes from a time far ahead of both myself and the other Jedi here.

Solo... not a name I recognize.

[Clearly he does not know the family]

How far ahead?

[well, he still doesn't know the specifics. but as far as he's concerned, everybody here needs to be on the same page. that doesn't mean he's ready to share with the ship though. not when others seem to know more about their galaxy than he's comfortable with.]

I'm not sure exactly. But he said he was born during the clone wars, and that it was nineteen years since the empire was formed. [whatever those terms mean]

[What do you even do in this situation?]

One eventually led to the other. It's a long and painful story. The Empire formed three years ago for me.

So you're from the future too.

[huh. well that's...potentially a problem. but at the same time-]

I met you for the first time earlier this year. [briefly] How long ago was Omega's attack on the senate for you?

Over a decade.

[It was obvious enough that they were far separated in time. But having to put numbers to it was still shocking]

[he wants to ask about the future; to know what's coming. he wants to know more about the war, and to discover who luke is. but even he knows better than to pry right now. so instead-]

I'm certain that Master Vos will make contact with you soon. But until then, know that the Jedi are here for you if you need us.

[see, he can act like a grown up sometimes.]
