[Although she has been getting a hang of using her comms device, she's had a poor habit of accidentally turning it on every once in a while- so bear with her. This seems to be once of those times, having hit a button when moving the device over.
Susan sits upon the bed in her room, staring down at the golden crown clasped gently in her hands. It's an intricate circlet of delicate looking leaves and gilded flowers, an item of clearly very fine craftsmenship. She's frowning, but there's also the slighest, almost nostalgic smile pulling her lips upward.]
[ooc; her crown looks like this in case anyone was curious]

[ Because if the ship feels like gifting people crowns, their crowns, it seems like a waste for them not to actually wear them. Especially if she's looking like that when she looks at it. ]

There's a crown of flowers, and that's a hopeful sign for this ship.]
Have you made it yourself, mademoiselle? Spring is the best season for daffodils.
[At least, it was spring last he knew. He'd give a brief smile, to signal that he thought the crown well-made. The only crowns that should exist should be those made of flowers.
Also, since making no introduction seemed rude;]
My name is Jean Prouvaire. I hope you don't mind the question, but; do flowers bloom somewhere on this ship?
